Shivalingam Blessed by Mahavatar

Swami Vishwananda Speaks about a certain Shivalingam living on His Temple Altar at Springen: This Shivalingam has been blessed by Mahavatar Babaji. Mahavatar has given the lingam the name Mrityumbageshwar. The meaning is “the one who removes all suffering and inspires people to realize the Divine.” The lingam has been blessed with great healing energy. Whoever pours water over this Shivalingam while reciting eleven times the myrityumjaya mantra can be healed by drinking the water.

Myrityumjaya Mantra:
Tryambakam yajamahe sugamdim pushtivardanamurvu rukiamiva
bhandhanat mrityor mukshiya mamritat

This Shivalingam is very special because Mahavatar Babaji has blessed it with the same energy as the Jyotirlingam in India. Shiva appeared and manifested eleven lingams in eleven places to leave those places sacred. The Jyotirlingam is in one of those manifested by Shiva.

When you come to the temple at Springen, you may pour water over the Shivalingam and then keep it in a container and drink it if you are ill, and you will get cured. Have faith in it. When you place flowers on the Shivalingam, you receive the blessings of the Goddess Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and beauty. Wealth means not only material wealth but also spiritual wealth which is the most important of all. The worship of Lakshmi and the Shivalingam together is in accordance with the Shatras. Mahavatar Babaji has said the water from this lingam can even transmute
death and give back life.

Note: Someone indicated in "Comments" that the Mrityumbageshwar Lingam blessed by Mahavatar is now living in the "Babaji Cave" at Springen.

Gurudev Swami Vishwananda makes a strong statement in today's post: "Swami Vishwananda Speaks about a certain Shivalingam living on His Temple Altar at Springen: This Shivalingam has been blessed by Mahavatar Babaji. Mahavatar has given the lingam the name Mrityumbageshwar. The meaning is 'the one who removes all suffering and inspires people to realize the Divine.'"

How does one place faith in such a statement that a certain lingam "removes all suffering?" Is it that once the Oneness Consciousness is reached beyond the illusionary world of materiality, what we perceive as suffering is no longer experienced as suffering? Therefore, if the lingam inspires one to realize the Divine, then both promises of the lingam are fulfilled when that occurs.

So, it seems to me that it is not that the lingam, "across the board" removes all suffering (we can perceive in ourselves and others that all suffering does not automatically disappear when one drinks the water from that lingam.

It seems to me that the lingam provides the "opportunity" to remove all suffering. Like always, we have to do the work ourselves, and the lingam is not a "magic wand" that removes all suffering for all people, we know that for sure! Sometimes, I wish such things as Swami's lingam, blessed by Mahavatar, were "magic wands."

Thanks! Yes, I also feel that what we perceive as suffering is no longer suffering then...without hard and serious work on oneself nothing can be achieved, or as one saint put it: it is an intense journey that requires our whole being, our whole attention...
The Lingam as far as I know is now in the Babaji cave in Springen Center? Jai Guru Dev.

Perhaps the biggest problem on Mother Earth is the kind or level of energy.

One of the biggest problems we have is the polution. But where does the polution come from? From the modern world?

Whom does human kind trust in case that the "modern world" doesn´t work anymore.

Do we trust in politic, marcets, politic...? Behind all this stand people. Do we trust in ourselves?

This Shivalingam seems to me also a gift in building energy in

Help - Faith and Forgiveness
to Mother Earth and human beeing

Love and Thank You

Dear Tarun, thanks for this nice comment. - Do we trust in ourselves? This is a vital question. it is the mass consciousness that stands behind politics, economy, pollution and so on. and what is mass consciousness if not the sum of the consciousness of all of us?
We can only have the politicians that mass consciousness deserves, the world that mass consciousness "deserves". only a reflection. as above, so below as for the outside plane. On the outside, we are always looking into a mirror, be it with the people we meet or the pollution or politicians or economy we are having. Certainly the Lingam is a gift that should be used for change, which starts within ourselves.Love and JGD

...again and again until we have reached a new energy level. Then it starts again and in case we learned our lessons in life...

Then on this new level the attributes will be different -

Creativity, Peace, Consciousness, namely to realize to be one with the Divine
