Churning the Cosmic Ocean of Milk

Swami Vishwananda: Very often we limit God. He takes limitation unto Himself for us! But know one thing, unlimited consciousness is for everybody. And to reach and get liberation and to get self-realisation, you have to completely surrender and accept everything.

When you read about all the Holy saints, you see nothing could stop them. The saints come to show us that they are normal human beings and they have achieved one with God. They show that we all can do it also if we put our ego aside. If we put what we think we need aside and if we put what we think to be most important aside, we make only Him the most important. Then He will render everything, and this is complete surrender. And that is what He wants from the people! God has everything!

What God wants, is that everybody, all His children, come back to Him. He wants all His children to change into Him. This is the meaning behind the churning of the ocean of milk [Srimad Bhagavatam], behind one's own spiritual path.

I don't get this video - it doesn't really seem to relate to what is being said here?

Hi,
Swami spoke of "churning the ocean of milk" and what the story means in the speech above the video. The video is a dipiction of the "churning..." JGD

Men desire the fruits of good deeds, but do not perform good deeds. Men want to avoid the consequences of sinful actions, but are engaged in sinful actions. How is this possible? It is not easy to escape from the consequences of one's actions. But there is no need for despair. If one earns even a grain of grace from the Divine, a mountain of sins can be reduced to ashes. If one feels genuinely penitent, seeks God's forgiveness and takes refuge in God, all one's actions will get transformed. But without heart-felt penitence, this will not happen.
