Three Questions on Mind
Swami Vishwananda

I'm Giving You This Butterfly:
S
omeone sent me this morning the poem given below. Remembering that Swamiji and devotees are outside at Shree Peetha Nilaya today and the next two days with Bhu Devi Yagna, I wish that they, and you, see beautiful butterflies this weekend:

Gurudev at Bhu Devi Yagna 2009

The Butterfly
by R. Lee Walsch

I'm giving you this butterfly
because of what it means;
the amazing things
about butterflies
is the way
they get their wings;

See, butterflies start out
as very different things;
each one enduring hardships,
but to this hope
it clings;

One day it will become
d
espite setbacks from the start;
no longer a nothing creature
-but the love inside its heart;

If, by chance, you see one
-for that one brief moment pause,
and watch it floating by,
remembering this, because;

You too are like the butterfly,
having endured so many things,
making beauty out of heartache,
turning obstacles into wings;

You truly are a miracle
and I think that you should know -
It's not the things that happen
but, how we learn to grow; because

In the end what makes
b
eautiful and why
-is not the way we started,
but in how we learned to fly.

(
Thank you Achala)

GURUDEV and MAHAVATAR on PRAYER

Swami Vishwananda Arati to Babaji
In Babaji Cave Shree Peetha Nilaya

Mahavatar Kriya Babaji: Prayer to the Divine can be a major stumbling block or a phenomenal step forward in your progression toward the eventual Divine merging with the Formless. How can this be, you may think, as the Himalayan sages have stressed japam as the fastest avenue to the Divine in the Kali Age? Japam and prayer are synonymous, my friends.

This is how it is for instance: A man once went to the grocery store for his wife and she had given him a grocery list with specific items listed. The man, being a dutiful husband, placed the list on the seat of his car where he would be sure to see it when he arrived at the grocery store. On arrival, and as he was parking, a friend honked his horn from the next car parking just beside him. Both men got out of their cars and walked into the grocery store together.

Once inside the store, the man realized that he had left the grocery list on the seat of his car. Thinking he would remember what was written on the list, he quickly purchased the items and returned to his home. Nine food items had been listed and the man had remembered that number in the store. For her guests that night the man’s wife was planning to make a dish called potato dumplings. The ninth item the man had purchased was not potatoes, but tomatoes!

It is like that with prayer! It is best to be specific with the words of your prayer. There is an accurate saying: ‘Be careful what you pray for as God may grant your prayer.’ And when you pray, remember to be grateful for the life you have been given and the planet you call home. Take the best care of both as they have been given to you in sacred trust.

Swami Vishwananda: We do our prayers in quantity by burning lots of candles and lots of lights and saying to God, ‘Here, this is my prayer to You, God!’ But what God really wants is the quality of your prayer. God wants our prayers to come from the heart without any doubt or negativity.

Every prayer, every thought, every action vibrates on a certain level. Raise the frequency of vibration; raise it in your consciousness. You are an instrument of the Divine. Let us show that we are this instrument, not just by saying it, also by our actions, how we welcome everything.

LOVE Is ALL THAT IS

Swami Vishwananda
My mission is to spread love, Divine love. The main base of my mission is to open up the hearts of people. You see, the word 'Love' itself has so many meanings nowadays that people have forgotten the true aspect of Love, the unconditional Love, and that is what will change the world. All the other forms of Love have expectations. But when one feels this real Love inside one’s heart, it’s beyond all expectations. And only with this Love peace can be restored.

If Love is given, Love has always to flow. But what happens, what people do always is: When they receive love, they feel it, but they close themselves. They want to keep this love. They think that they will always feel the same Love, but know Love makes you sick after some time. This is because if you try to keep it always inside of you all the time, pride and arrogance will awaken and try to control all this feeling because you want to have more, but yet you don’t want to give. -Swami Vishwananda

LETTER from BABAJI - Love Divine

LOVE DIVINE

When time stands still
Devotees of the Lord know him
At the core of being.
Let This Be.

And let this happen to you, my friends.
In freedom, and in Love Divine.
When the winds of time blow into eternal
Fire-form of Himalayan winter’s frosty snows,
Turn your back on worldly woes
And flow with eternal time.

The Satguru is by your side
In form . . . in love Divine.
Follow his footsteps into eternity,
And Love all those along the way.
Do not waste time on Earthly troubles
But smooth the waters into heavenly stillness,
And be the one you were in the beginning,
Just love and nothing less or more . . .

It is truth, my friends,
In sacred essence,
There is only Love Divine.

Bhu Devi Yagna 2010

Maha Lakshmi and Maha Vishnu
Bhu Devi Yagna (Information from Bhakti Marga see Link below)
The Bhu Devi Yagna is a yagna that is conducted by Sri Swami Vishwananda to help assist Mother Earth ("Bhu Devi", a form of Lakshmi). Currently Mother Earth is exposed to many pressures that humanity have created – wars, pollution, over population, misuse of natural resources (deforestation and more) etc have had an impact upon the natural cycles of Mother Earth.

Bhu Devi Video (2009) Three days ago part of the world participated in an action day called "Earth Day", to promote a healthy sustainable environment, a healthy Earth. For that reason, and also for you to "warm up" a little to this Year's Bhu Devi Yagna, we (Bhakti Marga) uploaded a 4 minute excerpt from last year's Yagna onto Youtube.

Bhu Devi Yagna of 2009 Video of Swami Vishwananda
2010 will be April 30-May 2 (see below Link for information)

ATTAIN GOD LET GO

Sri Swami Vishwananda
Swami Vishwananda: To reach God, we have to let go and surrender. How is the way to let go? If you are on the spiritual path, there are many ways to let go. To let go doesn’t mean that one has to not care. It means how you care. It is not like this: “I don’t care about this.” It’s not about that, but how we see things, the way we look at things completely in a different way. The same thing when you are in the world outside; you look at how people walk and how they are. If you can sense, their mind is so busy always thinking: “What is next, what is next, what is next?

When you come to a spiritual environment, some people are looking for another kind of thing, something completely different. So they have let go of certain things and are willing to get something else. Once when I was traveling and I was talking to a master, actually, he said, “For the people who live for God, they have let go of the world and live for the Divine. So they are not running after the world, but the world is running after them.” Do you get it? When somebody lets go of something, where does it go back? It goes back to the world, because you took it from the world. Of course, the world outside always will like to push itself on you again.

For example, when you start to follow a spiritual path everybody is against you, everybody wants to give you good advice not to follow the spiritual path. So how is that? You know which path you are following, but yet you have let go of certain things and the moment you take that decision of letting go of certain things, of course, many will not be happy because everything changes. Your friends start to change, the way they think changes, the way they have taught you changes, the way you are changes, so of course they will not be happy.

One Mataji from Mauritius, when she went on the spiritual path, all her family became against her. Before, they were all happy with her. They were all coming to her place eating, drinking, talking, and the moment she changed, what happened? No one! Same thing when one has lots of good things in their life. . . same thing when there is great joy in one’s life; you have lots of people to enjoy it. And the moment one has a problem, you have only few people left with you. So the same for you letting go of this is to realize what is the reality, and what is it that you really want. And when you know what you really want, nothing can move you. Then you become strong like what Christ said: “Build your faith on stone.” When you become like that, then nothing can move you. But if one day you are like this: The wind blows you left and you turn left, the wind blows you right and you turn right, you will be always going the way of the wind.

Shroud of Turin Burial Cloth Christ Jesus

Shroud of Turin Burial Cloth of Christ Jesus

. . . And video of Swami Vishwananda Bhakti Marga 108 Jesus Christ Song at Darshan.

The "Shroud of Turin," the 14 foot-long linen strip revered by some as the burial cloth of Jesus, is pictured at the Cathedral of Turin, Italy.

The Holy Shroud, which some believe to be the linen cloth in which Jesus Christ's body was wrapped after crucifixion, will be on display at the St. John the Baptist Cathedral in Torino, Italy, through May 23, 2010.

The shroud arrived in Torino in 1578 at the request of the Savoy family and has been at the cathedral since 1589. It has been studied for years in an effort to better understand its origin and authenticity.

This is the first time in 10 years that the shroud is on display. The church is open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. Reservations are required and can be made online at http://www.sindone.org/#_blank. The shroud features a faint impression of an image, the frontal and dorsal of a man who experienced death by crucifixion.

With Eyes of the Heart Meditate

Hanaman The Perfect Devotee
of Lord Rama

Hanuman is the symbol of strength and energy. Hanuman is said to be able to assume any form at will, wield rocks, move mountains, dart through the air, seize the clouds and rival Garuda, the Golden Eagle vahanna of Vishnu, in swiftness of flight. Once, when challenged, he ripped open his chest to reveal that in his heart, every heart beat resonates: Rama, Rama, Rama, eternally.

Meditation: Swami Vishwananda
Focusing on the Eyes of the Heart

  • Take a deep breath in.

  • Slowly inhale and slowly exhale.

  • Concentrate on your heart chakra.

  • Go deeper and deeper in it.

  • When your mind is thinking; don’t give importance to it.

  • Let the thoughts pass like the wind is passing through all of you.

  • Whatever passes through the mind, let it go.

  • Keep your concentration focused on the heart chakra.

  • Feel the love, the joy, the happiness that is coming out of it; the warmness from deep within you.

  • It is radiating all over your body.

  • The whole body is reflecting this powerful Divine light and love.

  • You are just enjoying this love.

  • You are imbued with it.

  • You feel such blissful happiness, that you never felt before.

  • Remember not to fight whatever is passing through your mind, but just not give it any importance.

  • Let yourself go deeper and deeper into it now.

  • For at least five minutes stay in meditation.

  • OM Shanti, Shanti, Shanti; Shri Gurubhyo Namaha Hari OM

Secret Power of Mantra Japa

From the dawn of time mankind has believed that the higher dimensions were beyond their reach and experience. In order for humanity to form a pathway to the higher dimensions, The Divine continuously has been sending enlightened teachers (Gurus) to mankind throughout time. --Mahavatar Kriya Babaji (From Unity With The Divine)

Swami Vishwananda with Mahavatar Babaji Murthi

Swami Vishwananda: Once a student went to his Guru and said: “Master, I am troubled.” The master stood right in front of him and came as near to his face as this microphone through which I am speaking, and said: “Why do you hang on illusion? You know that whatever is in the mind is an illusion; why do you hang on that? You know very well that deep inside of you only God resides. Why don´t you find joy inside of this?”

Then the master said to his student: “My dear child recite nonstop for 24 hours your Guru mantra, and meditate intensely for 4 hours, and you will conquer the mind.” Of course the grace of the Guru was there. The same thing is true for you, as the grace of God is with you. Chant the name of God for 24 hours. You may say, “What if I sleep?” How can we chant when we are sleeping? But that is the secret of mantra japa. Train yourself to chant the name of God throughout the day. The more you train yourself to recite continuously, and in every action to remember the Divine, the more it will become automatic. Even when you sleep you will carry on chanting and singing the Divine names.

LETTER from Babaji: Death of Body

Mahavatar Babaji
Question on VBV blog yesterday: “Dearest Babaji: If a person is slowly dying in our presence, how can we do our sadhana, when we are so deeply saddened? What must one do in times like these? How do we deal with the sick/dying people around us? We would like to cure them, but we can’t. We would like to help them but they are too sick to even move.”

Babaji transmitsed for comment section yesterday: Thank you for this comment which is of concern for many, always. As Jesus said: "The poor ye always have with you," so, also, always you have atmic souls coming and going on planet Earth. Doing one’s sadhana when one is on the spiritual path is a duty if you sincerely are committed to advancing. Controlling the mind is a spiritual practice; so then God has given you a perfect opportunity when you are deeply saddened to practice controlling your mind. That is all, isn’t it?

Please go within and ask your Self, your heart, what you must give to these people who are in the process of transition. You see each person who gives and each person who is in this state of change is a personal contact unto themselves, that is for both. On VBV tomorrow I will discuss this in a little more detail. -Your Friend, Babaji

Today Babaji transmits: “Lord help us,” we pray in times of trouble, isn’t it? Well, that is an appropriate prayer. Have you read the Paslms of David, in particular Psalm 23 recorded in the Bible?

The 23rd Psalm

(Bible - King David)

T
he Lord is my shepherd;
I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul:
He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness
for His name' sake.

Yea, though I walk through
the valleyof the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil:
For thou art with me;
Thy rod and thy staff,
they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me
in the presence of mine enemies;
Thou annointest my head with oil;
My cup runneth over.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the House of the Lord forever.

King David was in dire trouble when he wrote that psalm. Yet he understood that the Lord was always with him. So like that, if a person is dying, you must attempt to help them from the place where they are, see? If they have not lived their life as a Christian, they would not be in a place where they could relate to King David’s beautiful and blessed psalm. Firstly, whatever spiritual tradition they have resonated with, or if they have not resonated with any, you must aline your “help” with them and the place where they are on all levels presently, see? If you wish, and the person is in a state when they may respond, and if the person wants to pray or have you pray for them, that is good, but ask them or have them ask you first. If they are not moving or are unconscious then you must work with them at the place, the level at which the physical may currently respond. And it has been proven by science that unconscious people may still hear and see from the inner eyes and ears.

Secondly, the most important thing of all is to love them and show them unconditional love and within that, my dear friends, is everything that you can do for them both physically and spiritually. You see, often when people are trying to help someone who is dying, they are truly not in their hearts trying to help the dying person, but secretly they are worrying about their own mortality and their own demise. Check yourself for this way of being!

Thirdly, accept that what is happening to the person is God’s will to be done. Certainly, there are miracles, and countless people throughout time have returned from Yama’s call, from death’s door. Praying is appropriate, but pray without condition, pray unconditionally for God’s will for the person. Love the person and offer the physical help that you can give freely, and lovingly, and unconditionally, and then when you have truly offered all that you can, “Let go and let God!” That is best.

Beloved friends, it is time to always aline your will with Divine Will. Amen and OM. -Babaji

Letter from Mahavatar Babaji

"Mahavatar Kriya Babaji

Dear Babaji: There are lot of negatives now in the world, especially in my country. In these days I was thinking, what is more important: to pray for others, who really need help, or to do your own sadhana and grow more in Divine Light? (Comment on VBV March 19, 2010: "Forever OM).

Mahavatar's Response:
Dear Ones: Christ said it in a simple and great under- standing: "Do unto others as ye would have them do unto you." It is the only way man will ever dig himself out of the Kali Yuga and FLY into the Golden Age. It will happen; it is ordained by the One on High, and when HE, the Supreme Being speaks, it will be. "Darkest before the dawn," is a true statement when one perceives the essence of its meaning at the core. Have not many prophecies informed that in the ending days of the Kali Yuga, there would be great darkness upon the land, within the peoples and in the air, sea and sky? Nevertheless, the Eagles are above all this: waiting and watching and loving man.

So the game of man has played itself out on Earth as the Divine Plan called for you to have the opportunity to have the place, time, body, love, hate, Greed, Anger, Desire and all the capabilities of man to do with in a certain free will. Restrictions have been placed on man in that you have the limitations of the body itself to contend with. Your body cannot fly! However, your spirit can fly into eternity. That is what you all are learning. That is the goal of man. Go within the self as Swami Vishwananda teaches you and locate the Divine Love which you are and always have been, and, guess what? Yes, of course, you will fly into the wild blue yonder of Divine Love and the eternal "free zone" wherein lives the Creator God-Brahma, the Sustainer God-Vishnu-Narayanya, the Destroyer-Regenerator-God Shiva and all the Gods you have created in form. And therein within the forms, as Swami Vishwananda recently taught you, resides the fullness and the attributes of the formless God! Let It Be, my dear friends.

The question, "What is more important: to pray for others, who really need help, or to do your own sadhana and grow more in Divine Light?" Both are equally important in this sense: "Do unto others as ye would have them do unto you!"

Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty

DOES MIND EXIST

Guruji, you always tell us to control the mind. Many Masters say the mind doesn’t exist. Why then do we need to control it?

Swami Vishwananda
Response: Very good question. In one state we can say that the mind doesn’t exist. But yet, when we look in the outside, does the mind exist or not? Do you perceive the power of the mind or not? Yes, that means there is certain reality into it. But in reality when you have transcended everything, when you have reached enlightenment like the Master, then you can say that the mind doesn’t exist. Then you can say, “We don’t need to control it." But as long as you are in the physical body, as long as you have not come to the point of enlightenment, you do have a mind to be controlled.

TRUE NATURE of MAN

Vishnu-Narayanya - Sustainer God

Swami Vishwananda: Actually, the true nature of mankind always is enlightened. There is not a moment where you are not enlightened. The point is that as Christ said, “When you have a lantern you have to put it high up." But here [in unenlightened man], the lantern is shadowed with dust. You all are enlightened, everybody is enlightened because your soul is part of the Divine Himself! So how can that part not be enlightened. It’s not logic. That means that your true nature is fully always enlightened, but the point is that around it, you have so much dust that has to be cleaned. And there is where your spiritual practice comes.

DRAMA and IGNORANCE

Link to Swami Vishwananda's Live Streaming
of Darshan March 14 2010:
http://www.ustream.tv/channel/darshan-live

"What is the use of having a teacher when you can’t listen? People like to be ignorant. They like to be always in their own drama. They don’t really want to change. Outside they say, “Yes Swamiji, we want to change, we want to do what you say,” but inside they don’t really want. Why don’t spiritual people change? Don’t take the excuse of Maya or whatever. These are just typical excuses, so forget about Her (maya)" –Sri Swami Vishwananda-

In Times of Trouble Stay Centered

For those of us who live a great physical distance and see Swami Vishwananda infrequently, it is inspiring always to see, read or hear something that reminds us of what he actually does throughout time in his mission. Yesterday, I was reminded when I watched the video of Swami, "Bala Krishna." This video and the talks and rituals Swami is doing in the video happened before our troubles in 2008. What struck me while watching the video is that Swami has remained the same, centered and on purpose both during and since the disturbing time. He is doing the same spiritual teachings he was doing before.

Mahavatar Babaji said recently in his letter for this blog on April 10: “The spiritual energy that the teacher maintains, even in times of trouble for him in the Earthly sense, may be an inspiration for you in your trouble. For he is enlightened and is capable of staying centered in the ‘worst of times and the best of times.’ You can learn from him as you observe him in his work.” After watching the video (see below), I was reminded that Swami has remained centered through the trouble, both during and after. As reported, if he had some adverse reaction to the trouble, it was of short duration! Many say that Swami seems to be even more beautifully, powerfully and spiritually centered, giving and loving than before the trouble. It seems that way for me! -Utpalavati

Bala Krishna with Swami Vishwananda
"When the Lord has entered the heart of man, when he reveals himself, when the heart is opened up, one always feels God. Nothing can move oneself away from that. No matter how exciting the world is outside, once you have looked into the eyes of Narayanya, once you have realized the Divinity within you, you won't go away from that!" -Swami Vishwananda-

CHAITANYA and Kirtan at Shree Peetha Nilaya Video

Swami Vishwananda (with Chaitanya picture)

March 20, 2010 Video and
Swami Vishwananda giving Darshan Blessing

There was a saint, Chaitanya Das Maharaj, who lived in the 17th century. He always vibrated 'Gauranga, Gauranga,' who is another aspect of Krishna who appeared in 1500. Even while he was sleeping, people would hear 'Gauranga, Gauranga, Gauranga, Gauranga' vibrating from him. Each breath Chaitanya took changed to Gauranga. Chaitanya elevated himself into such a Divine spiritual advancement, that even when he took Samadhi, his whole body was vibrating Gauranga, Gauranga. By chanting you are making proper use of your tongue. By reciting the name of God, you also are utilizing the hearing, which will become finer until you realize the Divine vibration within yourself. Chanting and attuning to the Divine vibration will lead you to Self-realization or God-realization. Thereby, you attain the love of God completely. -Sri Swami Vishwananda

Be Present and Awake

Swami Vishwananda
Swami Vishwananda: We are living in a dreaming state. When we get awakened, we will see the reality. But this reality is not to be understood with the mind. That’s what human beings are here for: To attain this reality of who you are. We will attain this reality only through unconditional love, the same love that He loves us. Do you think His love is bound by any limitation or what we understand of Him? The love of God is not bound by anything, only by the love of His devotee!

Humanity’s Highest Goal

Mount Everest is the highest mountain on Earth above sea level, and the highest point on the Earth's continental crust, as measured by the height above sea level of its summit, 8,848 metres (29,029 ft). The mountain is part of the Himalaya range in Asia.

to love,

just love,

nothing else.

Letter from Babaji - Help Me Please

Note: It has been nine hours since we posted this entry. Now Babaji wishes me to add this: "Dear friends, there is more than one of you who have been asking me of Haidakhan Babaji. Those of you who read this blog know which ones of you whom I am speaking about. I request you watch the second video I am having my disciple place at the end of this entry. Feel with your heart for the answer to the questions you have been asking me. Your heart resonance is your answer. And not all of you will receive the same precise answer. It is all right. What I will say about your questions here is this: Haidakhan Babaji, so-named, is very, very close to my heart. Your questions you must answer for yourself." (Transmitted to Utpalavati from Babaji).

From time to time I will address a specific question that one of you, who read this blog, ask me in meditation or in your thoughts coming from the heart of yearning. Today we have one of you who asks: "Babaji, why is it that on the spiritual path there comes a time when we tire of the seeking? We need something from you that touches us deeply so that we may continue with more commitment that we are making some progress. Please help me."

So it is, dear ones, that as long as one is in the body one is subject to the influences on Earth and the planetary influences that bombard you with their energy. In these times it is important to stay centered within the self and continue to pray and meditate. Remember that the OM mantra is a beautiful and simple mantra in times of discouragement that will help you to center yourself quickly. Talk to a spiritual friend, sing bhajans, do japa, and visit your spiritual teacher whenever possible. The spiritual energy that the teacher maintains, even in times of trouble for him in the Earthy sense, may be an inspiration for you in your trouble. For he is enlightened and is capable of staying centered in the "worst of times and the best of times." You can learn from him as you observe him in his work.

Remember also that spiritual energy seems to ebb and flow as you walk your path to enlightenment. Stay positive always, for the low moods that sometimes seem to descend upon one will lift as you know from times past in your terms of time. Let It Be So! And remember to smile, help someone outside yourself, rock a baby and sing a lullaby, hear the birds sing in this springtime as a new season begins with nest building and new birth to come. Listen as they sing their bird songs of hope and renewal. Remember happiness is a choice; it does not disappear on its own, you send it away and you invite it back again. Happiness is not a thing, it is a choice within your thinking as you connect with the Divine Love you are within your heart. You are ever Divine Love. Remember that!

I am Babaji, your friend on the path to remembered bliss.
Amen and OM!

ROSHAN: Swami Vishwananda's Kenya Atma Kriya OM Talk

ROSHAN is one of Swami Vishwananda's Atma Kriya Institute teachers from London, England. Roshan went with Swami Vishwananda's on his recent visit to Kenya, Africa. He reports on a talk Swami gave on "The Atma Kriya Trinity OM Meditation and Healing Technique. "

Swami Vishwananda with Handicapped child in Kenya, Africa.
Bhakti Marge donated wheelchairs on his recent trip to Kenya.
The Seva Group in Kenya that Swami inspired five years ago has been working beautifully with handicapped children, some of them blind. Roshan, from London, England was on the trip to Kenya with Gurudev, and he wrote the following about a certain interesting talk Swami gave in Kenya. Gurudev spoke about the Atma Trinity Kriya OM Meditation that Swami and Mahavatar Kriya Babaji have incorporated into the Atma Kriya that Swami Vishwananda and his disciples teach. -Utpalavati

Roshan: Recently in his visit to Kenya, Swami said some very interesting things about the Trinity meditation. The Atma Kriya Trinity OM Meditation and Healing Technique is a form of Karma Yoga. In the OM healing technique, we cure our environment and other people in the environment. In the Trinity meditation, we bring down the Divine light that is [then] emitted into society. The light begins to radiate from a person who practices Atma Kriya and can reach a radius of 1 km. This creates a positive balance in our environment and people in it.

Swami continued to say that Atma Kriya has karma yoga (selfless service time), jnana yoga (path of knowledge) and dhyana (meditation). Inspiration, knowledge and wisdom (jnana) come from "higher mind" (an inner voice, inner guru) pranayamas and practicing asanas. Jnana is developing as we focus more on the breath and the position (asana) and withdrawing from normal mental activity. Therefore, Atma kriya is a complete system of karma, jnana and dhyana yoga. Swami explained Atma Kriya to the people in Kenya in this way. They (the people in the Swami Vishwananda Kenya Seva Group) are doing a lot of volunteer work, but do not do any meditation. – JGD - Roshan

Healing Light of the Divine

Sri Swami Vishwananda performing Abhishekam (puja) to the Hiranyagarbha Lingam and Muthi of Mahavatar Kriya Babaji. He manifested the Hiranyagarbha Lingam on November 2009. The Lingam stayed for only 10 hours this third time Beloved Gurudev has manifested it into Earth's third dimension. Swamiji has said that even seeing a picture of the Hiranyagarbha Lingam is beneficial to everyone and the Earth as well. It also has a Divine healing dimension available for everyone and for those with faith and trust in the Divine.

Looking at the world with Divine eyes,

you will see that the world is simply

the radiated light of God

shining through everything.

Keep trying until you have come

to that realization,

and never lose hope.

Arjuna's Faithful Trust in Satguru Krishna

Swami Vishwananda in Sedona, Arizona USA, and standing beside him is an American Indian with Eagle Feathers in his Head-dress. Swami said of this place: “Mother Nature is very beautiful in Sedona.” For many of us Swami Vishwananda is our Satguru. This picture reminds us of the following story of Arjuna, and Krishna, his Satguru. -Utpalavati
After the battle of Kurukshetra, Arjuna and Krishna were walking together in the fields. Krishna raised his hand and said to Arjuna:

“Look at these birds in the sky how nice they are!”
“Yes”, answered Arjuna, looking in the sky.
“But there are no birds”, said Krishna.
“No, there are no birds”, answered Arjuna.
“Look how nice these birds are”, said again Krishna. “They are really magnificent.”
“Yes”, said Arjuna. “These birds are really magnificent.”
“Why are you always repeating what I am saying?” asked Krishna, “There are no birds in the sky.”
“Yes, it is true. I don’t see any birds in the sky but I know that you could manifest at every moment, these birds and let them fly in the sky.”

Arjuna had total faith in Krishna and had totally surrendered body, mind and soul to the Divine. He was not trusting his mind or his eyes, but he trusted every word from his Divine Satguru.

HUMILITY

Swami Vishwananda at Darshan
Swami Vishwananda: How can we learn humility? The best is to pray for help to look inside to see what God wants us to learn in any situation and pray for God to help us transcend it. It’s true sometimes those things come on the way that we don’t understand. Even if you try to understand, you find it very difficult. You see, it’s simple, everybody wants their own idea to be heard first, and they don’t want to hear anybody else. If you already have made up your mind about something, thousands of people can tell you to do something differently and you will have some difficulties of doing it. In your mind you already have planned it; you have expected already!

Very often people come and ask me questions and I tell them, and sometimes they are happy and sometimes they are not happy. You see people want to hear what they want to hear, but in every situation we can learn so much. We talk about humility. One way of building up humility is to be able to learn from others from a situation which is wrong, but we have to stay in a state of non-judgment.

GAYATRI

The Gāyatrī Mantra is a highly revered mantra, based on a Vedic Sanskrit verse from a hymn of the Rigveda (3.62.10), attributed to the Rishi Viśvāmitra. As the verse invokes the deva Savitr, it is also called Sāvitrī. Its recitation is traditionally preceded by OM and the formula bhūr bhuvaḥ svaḥ, known as the mahāvyāhṛti ("great utterance").

Vishwamitra was the author of the revered great Mantra - The Gayatri Mantra (for the sake of clarity, Vishwamitra brought the Gayatri Mantra into world view through whatever method the Divine provided for him, and in that sense he was "the author.") . It is a mantra or prayer and is found in all the three Vedas; Rig, Yajur and Sama Veda. Vedas clearly state that anyone can chant this Mantra, and gain its benefits.

Meaning of Gayatri Mantra:
We meditate on the glory of the Creator;
Who is worthy of Worship,
Who is the source of knowledge,
Who is the bright light,
May he illuminate our intellect.

Gayatri Mantra is so called
because it liberates one who chants it.

Gayatri Mantra
Om bhūr bhuvaḥ svaḥ
tát savitúr váreṇyam
bhárgo devásya dhīmahi
dhíyo yó naḥ pracodáyāt

Letter from Babaji A TRIBUTE to CHRIST

Mahavatar Babaji's
TRIBUTE to CHRIST - AND -

Devotee at Springen report on blessed Easter celebrations with Beloved Swami Vishwananda:

Christ’s Easter Light

At Easter time,
vibrations rise higher and higher from
Fonts of celestial music
streaming from the eternal flowing Source.
Easter holy cantos
fill the airwaves of Earthly time,
reaching your world from the heavenly dimensions of light.
Embrace this Celestial, poetic music, my friends.

Your salvation rides upon the winds of time
As the Christ Consciousness,
which the Master Christ
birthed into your world,
propels these cosmic,
oceanic waves of Love Light
into your world, your heart, and your time.

On this, the day of Easter time,
you commemorate
The Master Christ’s gift
of his suffering the crucifixion
on Calvary’s golden, sacred cross.
And…through his resurrection,
the birth of the Christ Light within you
into the eternal vibration Of Love Divine.
It is written. It is so. Let it be.

EASTER CELEBRATIONS with Swami Vishwananda at Shree Peetha Nilaya this Easter Weekend:

Swami Vishwnanda with Rose Oil
Exuding from his palms

The last few days were so wonderful and full of bliss... Christ is risen!!!! Actually, I am not sure if Gurudev had stigmata: as far as I noticed He had a rose oil coming out from His hands. There were so many people here in Springen, that perhaps He didn’t want to have the stigmata ?

We have had several liturgies since Friday, also at nights. Yesterday we had a lovely Darshan, and after it a resurrection prayers and a procession. This morning we have had a long liturgy of St.Basil, with Pasch, Pascha bread being distributed, and lots of singing. Also yesterday, actually already today, at night we also had a lot of singing. It was really very joyful.

I heard that there were some 400 (!!!) people at a certain point in time. Gurudev is very happy, very joyful, joking with us. Wish you were here. Lots of love from us!

With Love and Gratitude for this report, Dear Friend! - Utpalavati

Christ Resurrection Celebration Sunday April 4 2010 EASTER

Sri Swami Vishwananda: He has resurrected. He is resurrecting inside everybody. He is going to resurrect everybody with Him and let the old person which is inside of you die to let the new one resurrect together with Him. The actual resurrection of Christ is to show that resurrection is possible, to show that God-realization or your true realization is possible. He has shown it. He has shown the way. That is why He has said: “I am the Way, the Truth and the Light”.

The Resurrected Christ with Mary Magdalene
The first person to see Jesus after the
Crucifixion and Resurrection
Resurrected Christ: Many Christians regard the resurrection of Jesus as the foundation of the mission of Christ. Jesus showed, “I am the way, the truth and the life (light). Through his teachings and resurrection of his rising from physical death into Divine Light, Christ exemplified “the way” that we all may resurrect into Divine Light.

The Resurrection of Christ provided validation of his Incarnation. The Apostle Paul wrote in his first letter to the Corinthians: 'If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men. But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who have fallen asleep.' (Corinthians 15:19-20)

According to Paul, the entire Christian faith is based on the resurrection of Jesus on the third day, and the belief of life after mankind’s death. Christians annually celebrate the resurrection of Jesus at Easter.

The vast majority of Christians; Catholics, Orthodox, Protestants and adherents of the Assyrian Church of the East accept the resurrection of Jesus as a real historical event. -Utpalavati
