Letter from Babaji: Surmounting Time and Space

Image of Divine Mother appeared on picture of Mahavatar Babaji in Croatia at home of Swami Vishwananda's disciple.
Note from Utpalavati: I had posted this blog’s entry for yesterday morning at 3 a.m., and then looked on facebook and saw a picture of Swami Vishwananda where several people wrote something like: “Swami looks beautiful.” I thought, “Yes, and his eyes look sad to me as if he is all dressed up going to a birthday party with the “weight of the world” looking out of his beautiful eyes.” And I felt sad! And my heart hurt for the karma Gurudev takes on continuously. I thought this was just one of those fleeting, casual thoughts of the “stupid mind” as Swami calls it. The Divine, however, uses everything to guide us to higher light.

To my astonishment, I then instantaneously was transported consciously into the Himalayan Mountains walking toward Mahavatar Babaji, whom I saw a few feet in front of me sitting in front of an Himalayan cave in the early morning light just before dawn. In this dim light, just moments before sunrise, Mahavatar’s countenance gave the appearance of reflection, quietness, as if he was human and in deep, melancholy thought. He said to me as I come walking toward him: Greetings from the dawn of time to you and your world. I would like to say something. Babaji’s sadness looked so real, third-dimensional, and human that I had to mentally control my emotions and mind and remind myself not to feel distressed because his beautiful face looked very humanly gloomy. I reminded myself that Babaji had just “put on this face” to convey his message through mirroring mankind, and that he is Divine and eternally in bliss. Nevertheless, the look on his face was heartrending for a moment, as Babaji gave the appearance that he was human and needed a hug, for in this moment he seemed to be a convincing human being. I marveled at His ability to be different and so convincing in whatever role he plays each time I see him.

Abruptly, then I became aware of myself in the Himalayan mountains with Babaji and simultaneously in my physical body at home in America sitting at my computer ready to record Mahavatar’s words. -Utpalavati

Mahavatar Babaji:
I am sitting here contemplating the world-at-large in today’s time. Love is absent in many pockets of the world. It breaks my heart when your hearts are broken, my brethren of Earth, for we are one. The sooner everyone believes and acts upon this great Divine Principle, the sooner man will be free of the morass of contemporary problems which he, himself, has created. Why is it important for anyone to wander the wilderness of time and space to arrive at this understanding?

From the beginning of time it is so. The hidden design of man was created for a grand purpose in the ever-flowing love of the Divine. Now you all have reached a critical mass on Earth when it is time to reconsider all the programming, and all the conditioning, and all the problems you all have created. I sit here on Mt. Kailas today, right now in your time, and I look from this vantage point as if I were in your shoes, in your boots, and walking in your footsteps. I honor your right to be free and to be however you wish to be, and simultaneously I can do nothing less than encourage you to “pull yourself up by your boot straps” and walk as God-man. It is your divine right. It is time now to stop groveling in the dust and mire of materiality and run for the finish line of enlightenment as you know it. Why? It is time within the hidden plan of the Divine for those of you ready to walk the higher road to firmly determine within yourselves that you can do it. There is a saying: “If you think you can, or you think you can’t, you are right.” In that sense, there is no wrong; it’s a puzzle, isn’t it?” The glass is perceived half full or half empty by one’s own self-chosen perception, isn’t it?

When time runs out in the hourglass of time, where will you stand in your sadhana, your belief systems, your Divine Love index garnered and remembered from your journey through time and space. Will you have conquered the land of the free and the home of the brave, that is, Earth life? Will you have mastered life on Earth through mastering yourself, controlling your mind and walking the high road to freedom? This is the Divine design, for you master Earth life and graduate into higher vibration through mastering your very own self and taking your consciousness into the Self! Will you stand with the enlightened ones in the white robes of purity through cleansing and controlling your minds into the higher vibratory fields of Divinity? Each of you is Divine; are you at least in touch with this? Are you sincerely committed to be this and that? Let It Be as your heart guides you into this Divine Love which you are, always have been and ever will be. ‘It is Written,’ and ‘It is So,’ right now in your time.

I am Babaji, one who is thinking of you and holding you all in my heart of hearts. Be free, it is your birthright! Our eyes are ever upon you and our hearts are ever entwined with your Divine heart as we beat with the same Divine Heart of the whole of Creation. Amen and OM. –Mahavatar Babaji

Swami Vishwananda declared that the "eyes in the sky"in the video below are indeed "The Eyes of The Divine Mother”. The eyes appeared in the clouds during a hurricane in Kerch Strait, Croatia.

LEVELS of VIBRATION

Swami Vishwananda: Each one has his own way of feeling God. For some, the Divine will express itself as complete joy. For others, the Divine will express Itself as separation. For some it is joyful to be in love with the Divine, and just to know that He is there. Actually you can describe every feeling as coming from the Divine. Which feeling, then, is the right feeling? Each person is on a different level of vibration and, therefore, feels the Divine in his own way.

Mahavatar Babaji writes in Unity With The Divine: The winds of change blowing upon the face and heart of each person incarnated has been whipping into a whirlwind since the 1960s in your time. When people came to me in the Himalayas in those early years of the 1970s I came into the world of form in several bodies to light the way of the wayfaring pilgrim. So it is today in the early years of the twenty-first century, I am available to you in several forms on the planet. You who wish to transform into the New Age vibration of light must search me out if you wish to see and connect with me in form. You will know me and learn to recognize me from within your spiritual heart.

May Masters Be Our Friends?

Mahavatar Babaji: My Dear Friends, often I address you with this salutation. It is your own free will as to how often you feel the depth of the meaning, and it occurs when you coordinate your will of Divine Love into the connotation that the word, friend, dictates. This word, friend, is fresh and rings with Divine truth each time I transmit it into your awareness through the disciples who carry my vibration into the material world view. It is our privilege to call you friend, for you all are indeed a part of us as the whole cosmos is only One in its ecstasy of billions and billions upon billions of crystalline components all beating with the same Divine Heart of Love and Truth. So Let It Be! Why? Because It Is so @ Divine.com, in your present vernacular, isn’t it?

My disciple was just now casually wondering how it is that pictures of Jesus and other Masters are smiling rarely, if ever. I can say that people have reproduced the images of your teachers throughout time as they perceive them. It seems, from the images you have stored in your retrieval systems such as the computer that these are images of the perception of the persevering, resolute and love-with-strength demeanor that unsmiling faces convey. Therefore, I declare today, dear friends, that you may “see” me in your mental picture smiling as you read… “@ Divine.com”. -Babaji

Lord Krishna:"Always think of me and become my devotee. Worship me and offer your homage unto me. Thus you will come to me without fail. I promise you this because you are my very dear friend." –Krishna –Bhagavad Gita

Gurudev Swami Vishwananda:
Swami Vishwapaarthananda, then Jyotirananda, writes in Blossoming of the Heart…I know Swami Vishwananda as a very close friend. . .Most Spiritual Masters oftentimes interact with others in a very human way while obscuring their realized divinity or spiritual advancement. I am grateful that Swami Vishwananda became my friend in just that way…Swami Vishwananda is definitely one of those rare persons who actually know and are fully conscious of their true self and their Divinity. He can connect with the greater reality at will…Those who view him superficially do not recognize the greatness of his soul…Swami Vishwananda allows people to choose whether they relate to him as guru, brother or friend or just as an ordinary person. Even though Swami Vishwananda is my guru, he will always be my good friend at the same time. –Jyotirananda (Swami Vishwapaarthananda)

Master Christ Jesus our Maha Friend “No greater love hath any man than he would lay down his life for his brother.” Excerpt from the Christian Hymn: “What a Friend We Have in Jesus” [a childhood favorite—Utpalavati]

What a friend we have in Jesus,
All our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer! . . .

Are we weak and heavy laden,
cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our refuge;
take it to the Lord in prayer.
Do thy friends despise, forsake thee?
Take it to the Lord in prayer!
In his arms he'll take and shield thee;
thou wilt find a solace there. . .

GURU'S GIFT of AMRIT

Swami Vishwananda: If you take the name of any deity, take the name of Rama, take Krishna, they all have a Guru, they all have a teacher to guide them, they are the embodiment of the Divine fully. They could have said it's okay we don't need one, and that's that, yet they show that in life one needs the blessing of a Guru and the way to receive it is through satsang, through gathering. In general why do people go to a master and receive what the master is giving? You see, it is because the master carries the amrit, the nectar, even when you don't perceive it with the mind, but you do receive it , through satsang, through our talk you are receiving something and what you are receiving is contributing to your advancement. What you are receiving, even you receive it without knowing, is the amrit. . .So being in the now is the greatest gift, being in the present moment is the greatest gift. Enjoy the nectar, enjoy the sweetness…

GURU PURNIMA LETTER FROM BABAJI

"Guru Purnima is when all the Masters and Saints are venerated." - Swami Vishwananda

DARSHAN JULY 24 2010

GURU PURNIMA July 25 2010

GURU PURNIMA MESSAGE FROM BABAJI

Utpalavati prelude to Babaji’s message: After I posted this blog I went into meditation. In Meditation, I visualized the many Masters I have consciously known in both the etheric realms and embodied in this incarnation. As I felt great love and gratitude for the love and help these many Masters have showered into my lifestream, Babaji suddenly appeared.

This beloved Master of Masters stood in His Himalayan Mahavatar Babaji form with white dhoti reaching from waist to mid-calf. Babaji’s long dark hair, with copper highlights, shimmered in His own radiant light which exuded outward from his form with a perceptible love for humanity. Babaji’s face seemed to be as if His own sun was rising from within His form and projecting its light outwardly. As I knelt in front of Him, Babaji placed a fresh, dewy flower on my head and then placed His hand on the flower at the center of my crown chakra. Hours later, I am greatly humbled by this Param Guru experience (Param Guru: the Guru Beyond; the Guru's Guru), and I continue to feel the flower and the hand of Babaji on my physical head.

MAHAVATAR BABAJI: Let you be a representative for mankind and the ones who resonate with our work together. I bless you all. Blessed be the ones who drink at the fountain of youth that comes from the eternal well-spring of Spiritual Masters who walk and talk on planet Earth. Down through time, we venerate this continuous flow of Enlightened Masters the Divine sends to walk with mankind and to love humanity through the vibration they carry. This Divine frequency advances mankind’s own energy and assists man on his ever forward evolutionary path to freedom of the Soulself.

Let it be this day that love and gratitude fills the heart of you all as we connect in the oneness of the Divine Light which shines from the heart space of each and every one of you. It is my delight and joy that you all come in peace and understanding of the Oneness through your Guru and Master Swami Vishwananda’s love and teachings. All people on Earth, I hold within my heart and I bless you one and all this day of days when the Teacher, the Guru is honored in your world, your hearts and your minds. Let It Be. It is written and it is so! I love you. - Babaji

GURU PURNIMA NIGHT

Nityam Brahma niraakaaram – nirgunam bodheyet param;
Sarvam Brahma niraahaasam – deepo deepaantaram yathaa.

Just as one candle lights another, the Guru departs to the disciple
awareness of the Absolute Being who is eternal,
imperceptible and without form or attribute.

Guru Gita, Verse 109

Swami Vishwananda excerpt from a talk on Gurupurnima night, July 2005:

Gurupurnima is ending; it is the last hour. If possible look at the moon. Close your eyes and make the deepest wish that you want and your wish will be fulfilled. As I’ve explained before, everybody is in search of the Guru. When you find your Guru, be loyal to him. Dedicate yourself completely to the Guru.

There is a verse that says:

Gurur Brahma, Guru Vishnu
Gurur Devo Maheshvarah
Gurur Shakshat Param Brahma
Tasmai Shri Gurave Namaha

Meaning: The Guru is the creator, The protector and the destroyer of ignorance. Being Param Brahma, being the incarnation of God manifest through the Guru to help each one until you reach the Self, until you reach the inner Guru.

Often people on this path become very dogmatic. When they have one Guru, they say, “This is the only way.” It’s true one has to be dedicated to the Guru. But to receive the blessing of all the Masters, this is the best.

People can see with their two eyes. With the physical eyes they see only the outside. But what is behind the Guru is the same light. The Guru will take your hand and bring you to a level where you can stand on your own feet. I don’t mean that you don’t need the Guru; he will always be there but he will put himself in the background. Then the inner Guru will become more important.

Guru Purnima Night

The Guru roams the starry skies of time
Betrothed to the Divine.
He steps into time…from time to time,
And out again in Divine time.
What is time, really…anytime?

Seashores have countless gains of sand.
What is sand to time?
Time is an illusion and
Sand is not as solid as one might think.
Sand feels solid to wet bodies
That lie down on the seashore
After a swim in the nearby refreshing ocean,
So-called salty. . . and cool.
Yet, bodies are not solid as we know for sure,
As even science now finally says.
Spiritual Traditions say truly. . .
Bodies are illusions in time. . .
As well as is the sand.

Ah, beware and be blessed
Oh Lover of the Guru,
The sands of time run out for everyone embodied,
When Lord Yama comes to call!

Thank the Divine, the atma lives on and on and on.
The Guru comes to factor in and out all this illusion
Into and out of human brain cells in time.
Then the Guru frees this illusion as He guides
His devotees to freedom’s gate
Residing in the Divine Heart of all mankind,
Where Divine Love reigns supreme,
And where Divine Love sits on the throne
Of your very own King Out of Time.

On Guru Purnima night, Shiva rides his Nandi bull,
And not a bicycle like ET of that called movie fame. . .
Shiva rides on Nandi, in world-viewing sight
Across the mystical, shimmering brightness
Of the full moon night.

Knowing all Earth life is a game in time. . .
Many flee from the wrath of Shiva,
The God known as bestowal of heavenly boons
That often seem to conceal a mysterious,
Powerful conundrum,
Frequently not in the receiver’s favor,
Like the boon Shiva gave to Ravana
In Lord Rama’s magnificent, epic time.
Wise souls pray to Shiva and attain His boon,
And then laughingly and confidently
Run for the heavenly cover of Lord Vishnu,
To Stand underneath the Guru’s banner of
“Everlasting and Timeless Holy Love Divine.”

Free yourselves of time, my friends,
And live in the eternal now With the Guru. . .
And with the Divine in and out of time,
On All-Guru Full Moon Night…
That magnificent, mysterious, lovely,
Effervescent night called…
GURU PURNIMA NIGHT ! ! !

Walking In The Fields With My Guru

Swami Vishwananda and devotees celebrate Guru Purnima Sunday, July 25, 2010 at Shree Peetha Nilaya.

Story of meeting the Guru, Swami Vishwananda, fromBlossoming Of The Heart”:

When I was eleven years old, I went to a sleep-away camp where we sang every night around the campfire. I had a favorite song and I have never forgotten it; it meant a lot to me as a child. Although I was unaware of it then, the possibilities it evoked in me inspired a lifelong quest for God:

My God and I walk through the fields together.
We walk and talk like good friends should and do.
He takes my hand.
Our voices join in laughter.
My God and I, forever shall we roam.

Later in life this quest led me to spend 30 years on my spiritual journey hoping to find a teacher who would guide me to achieve enlightenment in this lifetime. One day in June 2005, a friend called to tell me that a young Guru from Mauritius was coming to America for the first time. Although my friend and his partner had not met the Guru, they planned to spend a week with him during which he would give public darshans. My friend’s partner would be celebrating his birthday during that week, and he asked if I would come and celebrate with him, his partner and the Guru, at Alders Gate, a convenient five-minute walk from my home. “Yes, I’ll be there”, I spontaneously told my friend.

After agreeing to see the Guru, I became curious about him and decided to look at his website. As I gazed at his picture, I felt a rush of shakti move up my spine and intuitively sensed that I would be spending a lot of time with this Swami.

I entered the building where I was to meet my friends and the Guru, I felt a palpable air of excitement; I felt nervous, excited and somewhat tentative. I was surprised to see that my friends were not there. I sat as close to the chair, obviously prepared for Swami Vishwananda, as I could. When he came in and sat down, love radiated from him. In his presence I felt I could be safe for the rest of my life.

Swami led us in chanting for a short time and then he gave darshan. As I knelt in front of him and looked into his eyes, I started trembling with shakti rushing through my body. I experienced profound peace, stillness and a presence that I had never felt before as love poured through me. I returned to my seat and went into a deep meditation. I heard the words,
“This is the one for whom you have been searching”

The darshan ended as Swami stood up, looked directly at me and said to everyone, “Find Krishna within.” Swami Vishwananda left. Then, to my surprise, a short time later he reappeared. He greeted everyone with love and casually spoke with people. I asked Swami a question and he answered simply and directly, “All you have to do is unlock the little door to your heart”.

My friends never showed up that day. But they gave me the greatest gift of my life, my beloved Swamiji. That first meeting with Swami Vishwananda was the beginning of walking in the fields with my Guru.

Masters Analyze--Have Solution for Everything

Swami Vishwananda: Very often, men have an arrogant attitude. They think they know best. Many talk loud and know little. It’s said that the one who talks less knows much; and the one that talks a lot knows less. And it’s true. When somebody does not know much, they want to be heard; so, they raise their voice very loudly. But when you look at the Master, you look at the spiritual guide, they talk when they have to talk. But they keep quiet most of the time.

Masters analyze everything and they have a solution for everything. Only in quietness you will get a solution. Solutions are here always, but the mind is too busy to see them. When you have a problem, you look for a solution; you keep looking, looking, looking and get crazy about it. But at the end you say, “I am tired of it! Then you realize that the solution was there, but you did not see it. Then you ask yourself why you did not see it. Actually, it's because the mind was busy; the mind was too much in action. So, when the mind is in deep action like that, one always will think that one knows better, even when you don’t know much. When it is like this, where is the quality of humbleness? Where is the quality of obedience? Where is the quality of surrender? Where is the quality of love? There is none of these present! This is why you will hear that there are certain Masters who are really, really strict with the disciple.

Masters analyze everything and they have a solution for everything. Only in quietness you will get a solution. –Sri Swami Vishwananda

Receive the blanket of love the Gods wish to wrap around you and let it take you home to the everlasting peace you all long to remember, live and rest within. -Mahavatar Babaji (From: Unity With The Divine)

Gurudev European Mudra Workshop Tour

Sri Swami Vishwananda will continue touring Europe in a series of Mudra Workshops after returning from Mauritius later this week: Link for Gurudev’s calendar http://www.bhaktimarga.org/

A mudra is a symbolic or ritual gesture in Hinduism and Buddhism. While some mudras involve the entire body, most are performed with the hands and fingers. A mudra is a spiritual gesture and an energetic seal of authenticity employed in the iconography and spiritual practice of Indian traditions, among others.

Dancer portraying Hindu goddess Lakshmi with her characteristic hand mudras:
In yoga, mudras are used in conjunction with pranayama (yogic breathing exercises), generally while seated in Vajrasana pose, to stimulate different parts of the body involved with breathing and to affect the flow of prana in the body.

A brain research paper published in the National Academy of Sciences in November 2009, demonstrated that hand gestures stimulate the same regions of the brain as language.

From the Eye of the Storm

The eye is a region of mostly calm weather found at the center of strong tropical cyclones. The eye of a storm is a roughly circular area and typically 30–65 km (20–40 miles) in diameter. It is surrounded by the eyewall, a ring of towering thunderstorms where the most severe weather of a cyclone occurs.

Swami Vishwananda: Actually, when one comes to a point of self-realization, or one has come to the point of complete union with God, one doesn’t ask any questions of how is this and how is that. All the questions and all these things are in the mind. It’s the mind that asks questions. You have to transcend the mind to understand devotion.

Unless you have transcended the mind, you always will ask questions because the mind always wants to be fed with negativity and this is where the mind gets its power. The more you feed the mind, the more the mind will have control. When fed, the mind will have the power to control you, to play the game with you and to make you dance in its game? The more you suffer, the more there will be to complain about. As long as you do not surrender the mind, it’s difficult. And how to surrender the mind is through chanting the name of God continuously.

Utpalavati: From the eye of the storm, one eventually comes to the center or eye of the storm of life, where peace lives and reigns—“union with God". Until this union with the Divine is manifested we may ask: Open The Eyes of My Heart Lord

Swami-Personal Relationship with Babaji / Om Healing Story

Swami Vishananda giving Arati to Mahavatar in Babaji Cave - Shree Peetha Nilaya Swami Vishwananda Speaks on Cultivating Relationship with Mahavatar Babaji
Of course everybody has a different relationship to Mahavatar or to the Deity. This personal relationship is very good actually, very important. Without the personal relationship one can’t grow and one never will notice the intimacy between the Beloved and the lover. Only when one becomes this lover one will ignite this. This is very important; without this personal relationship between the Master and the disciple it is difficult.

But yet, whenever someone thinks of a personal relationship with a Master, they think that it always has to be sweet, sweet and soft, soft. No, the Master is like…have you ever seen a metal worker when they are heating the iron bar, they are tapping with strength, very rough to make it nice at the end. That metal turns out to be shinny and polished and very nice. But when you look at the smith making it, you will think that he is a cruel person because of his tapping it (the metal) very hard with power, always for what? If the Master is soft always the student will never learn anything. That is a mistake when one follows a Master, especially in the West, they think a Master has to be how they want Him to be. They don’t know that the Master is a Master and He challenges everything.

The same thing is with Mahavatar, one has to have this inner relationship with the Paramguru, (the Guru beyond your Guru or your Guru’s Guru). Don’t expect that he will be soft, soft and sweet, sweet inside (inside you). His sweetness is in the challenge that He will give. That is how He will make one stronger. The same thing I was just telling that the goldsmith tapping on the gold hard is so that he can remove all impurity out, so that he can make the gold fine. The same thing as the Master who makes the disciple fine.

OM Healing Story from Vamadeva -- UK: One of the participants in my OM Healing group, who often has visions, said part-way through one OM chanting that she saw Swami Vishwananda enter the hall. Swamiji tapped the visionary person on the shoulder. Then He walked through the Om Healing Circle, sat on an empty chair and started chanting with us. I know we are told that Swami Vishwananda and Mahavatar Babaji are with us in our OM Healing Circles, but I never knew Swami would come along in His astral body and chant with us!!! - Hari bole – Vamadeva – UK

Note: Swami Vishwaanashuyananda, when he read this OM Healing story wrote: "I must admit, quite frankly. that people would not believe what Swami gets up to all the time...so many stories I have heard from visitors of situations where he has helped people out in emergencies whilst physically he has been here in Springen. Swami Vishwananda is always helping others who do not know it or experience it [do not know that it is Swami helping them, yet they receive the help]. So keep the chair free Vamadeva for the next OM healing!"

Mahavatar's Evolving Yantra - Letter from Babaji

Utpalavati: Dear Readers, Friends and disciples of Babaji: Mahavatar Babaji wishes me to show, through what we will share today on this blog, a particular sequence of events that clearly shows how all experiences on this planet and all people are connected and that: "We Are One."

A disciple of Swami Vishwananda in Switzerland wrote an email this morning asking this question: "I have a brief question. While browsing through the Internet searching for a specific article I saw this yantra (see yantra diagram on right above). Now I wonder why the yantra in Babaji's book (Unity With the Divine, Yantra pictured on left above) has two triangles (put on each other like a star) and why before or in another group the Yantra was given just with one triangle?"

Babaji responds to questioner and I (Utpalavati) sent His response through email to Switzerland this morning: Dear One, I have given to different disciples diverse Yantra diagrams throughout time. If you will look at the appropriate appendix in "Unity With The Divine" (Babaji's transmitted book), we explain how my Yantra has evolved throughout time even as mankind has evolved. Knowledge has exploded in the last 50 - 100 years as you know. While we are in the ending stages of the Kali Age, we are merging also into the next age or Golden Age. Through this merging much knowledge is arriving into our awareness. Presently, it is our job to take this knowledge and embrace wisdom from it by placing it into our lives at the highest level of Divine Love as your Guru, Swami Vishwananda teaches. Mankind's process of merging from one age to another is reflected in my Yantra as it applies to my evolving mission on Earth.

Utpalavati wrote, along with Babaji's response, to the questioner: You will notice that in the Yantra you send, the triangle does not connect with the square and the square does not connect with the circle. Babaji transmitted to me when He was writing "Unity..." that now they connect and He explains why in His appendix pertaining to His evolving mission and its reflection in His Yantra (see Link below after reading rest of this entry).

When I (Utpalavati) woke up this morning I meditated on what I should place on Virtual-Babaji-Vishwananda blog today as I had nothing prepared as I often do, and Babaji told me I should place a picture. I asked Him in meditation what picture He meant and He told me to open up my computer and He would guide me to the picture. As you may have guessed, He led me to His Yantra picture you have in your email (see picture on right above along with Babaji's present Yantra on the left that He placed in His "Unity With the Divine").

The questioner in Switzerland then wrote another email as I was following Babaji's guidance and writing this entry for you all which Babaji wishes to share. Mahavatar now says: Dear Friends I wish you to see this simple way in which we all are connected. I love you one and all. I am not recommending that you feel or create the same life processes as my disciple in Switzerland as is written below. Rather I am sharing the Oneness, the forever connection we all have within us through sharing what this disciple has written after our Email in response to the question was received.

Disciple from Switzerland writes: " Dear Utpalavati, thank you and Babaji for your answers. I was very touched as I am often when reading Babaji's and your texts.

"When reading your answer I realized that I did read about the Yantra but I had forgotten about it. I think I am a very visual person like many people in the West. So after reading the appendix again and looking at both pictures there is more feeling from where to where things are moving though I will have to read his text a third time and look at the pictures once again. Also, I realized that often we think we understood something and then later we find out that we didn't or that our understanding changes with time due to our evolution. So the message for me is to reread Babaji's text again and again and see how things change in my understanding and knowledge and not to be arrogant and put things aside with the thought: 'Oh I read this so I am done with it.' Thank you very much for your answers."

Letter from Mahavatar Babaji: Monkey Mind

What is truth? The ravages of time have obscured the meaning of the Divine Truth of that which is eternal and unchanging. Monkeys evolve into human beings through evolution and the creative process of time. When the truth be told, man is not monkey and monkey is not man. You share the same genetic propensity to evolve from animal to man to God-Man.

Man, in this ending Kali Age, truthfully displays his animal nature and brain in much of his activities. Have you noticed? The destruction of nature and the imbalance it is currently enduring and displaying has been caused by this animal nature in man. It has been said by a wise master on this planet that man has a monkey mind. This is truth. Do you comply with man’s monkey mind or not?

There is a tradition in India whereby pesky monkeys who disturb households and children can be caught. The householder takes a jar with a small opening at the top, just big enough for the monkey’s paw to fit inside through the opening. The householder places a tasty treat that the monkey likes inside the jar. Lo and behold, when the monkey inserts his paw inside the jar and takes hold of the treat, the opening is not large enough to withdraw both the monkey’s paw and the treat he holds inside his paw. The monkey will not let go; he will not detach from his desire for the treat which would immediately bring him freedom. The householder, thereby, has caught the monkey through the monkey’s desire and his reluctance to detach from his desire.

It is said in India, then, that a man who will not detach from his desires is a hopeless case for enlightenment, isn’t it? The desire-filled mankind traps itself in third-dimension as surely as the monkey traps himself with his desire for the tasty treat. Do you have a monkey mind? Do you wish for enlightenment? How do you gage your prospects as they pertain to your desires and your detachment from them? It is a fair question, is it not? It is truth, isn’t it, that man’s desires for worldly things keep him returning again and again to the Earthly realms?

My friends, enlightenment can be made simple by simply letting go of the tasty treats, so-called, of Earthly design. Then you are free to do what the Christ taught: “But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal…Seek ye first the Kingdom of Heaven and the rest shall be added unto you.” What the Christ taught you is truth of the highest order. When you comply with this teaching of Christ, you thereby become what your Guru, Swami Vishwananda teaches you: Find this Divine Love in your heart and spread it, and you, thereby, have reached the truth of you and you become a Jivan Mukti, a God-Man. So Let It Be! -Babaji

Note from Utpalavati: For those of you who read Babaji’s letters I wish to share how “friendly” and totally delightful He is sometimes. I am now very familiar with His vibration, His voice, Him, that I feel comfortable with any way He presently is being. Most often He is totally noble, God-like, He can be the elevated High Spiritual Teacher, sometimes He portrays something like an older employer who is dictating to his secretary, sometimes Babaji is seemingly young like a teenager in His exuberance for His subject, etc. He displays many faces as He transmits His letters to you all. Of course, it is always a blessing to be with Him.

I sometimes within all of this ask Babaji if He will give me a “sign” that it is Him and not my conscious mind at that moment that is wanting to write His letter. Many signs he has given me over and over, every time I ask which is not always, of course. For this letter which he transmitted last night, He responded to my request for a sign with the following: Babaji smiled and suddenly reached out His pinkie, or little finger, crooked or bent, reminding me of a game we played as children in the US, America. He said in the style of the children’s game: ‘Give me your little finger and swear to tell the truth, and nothing but the truth.” True to my childhood game, I extended my little finger in the crooked position. Like in the game structure, Babaji entwined his little finger around mine and began transmitting the first sentence of his letter, which is as you have read: “What is truth?”

The Great Invocation

“Let the light flow through you;
become the Self and realize it.”

–Master Sri Swami Vishwananda-

The Great Invocation

From the point of Light within the Mind of God
Let light stream forth into the minds of men.
Let Light descend on Earth.

From the point of Love within the Heart of God
Let love stream forth into the hearts of men.
May Christ return to Earth.

From the centre where the Will of God is known
Let purpose guide the little wills of men -
The purpose which the Masters know and serve.

From the centre which we call the race of men
Let the Plan of Love and Light work out
And may it seal the door where evil dwells.
Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth
.

THE GREAT INVOCATION

Narayana Hari OM, Lakshmi, Narayana Hari OM

"Call The Divine with a form.

He will take that form.

He is not bound by any limitation of the mind.

He can manifest Himself the way you call Him."

-Sri Swami Vishwananda-

Narayana

Narayana, Hari, OM;
Lakshmi, Narayana, Hari OM
Guru Vishwananda, Vishwananda, Guru OM.
Ananda, Ananda, Ananda, OM.

Bliss, pearls, diamonds, spacecraft. . .
Those thoughts of random do stop somewhen,
And thereby silence turns into gold.
The dark of night calls one to his eternal home.
The light of day brings forth
Our crust of bread and pot of jam.

Rainbows light the sky after a rainstorm; why?
The Divine placed the rainbow in the sky
When He somberly and faithfully promised:
“I will NOT
tear the Earth asunder again
By inundating it with water."
Fire and brimstone, instead,
He has sent into many lives,
Through many minds and many hearts,
As the Kali Age merges, even now in your time,
Into the Golden Age of Forevermore all-time.

Babies cry when they are hungry,
Man creates havoc in another way.
When he is spiritually hungry,
Man conveys his message to God,
In a juvenile way. . .
By destroying the home
God has so lovingly and freely given,
Plus many, many more things,
In his sandbox he calls time,
He has done, brother to brother to brother.

On land and sea man has fought the battle
Of life and death and life forevermore.
Do not wait until the ravages of old age
To lay your burden down at the feet of Narayana.
Narayana is available to each and everyone in prayer,
Meditation, verse, chant and song,
And in your heart of hearts.

So sing your songs and chant your divine names
And ride the crest of time to live forevermore
In the dimensions beyond space and time
with The Divine and Supreme Narayana. . .
Chanting every step along your way. . .
“Narayana, Hari OM. . .Lakshmi, Narayana, Hari OM .”

Raise Your Vibration

The Master's Touch May Raise Your Vibration
Be Near Him When You Can
Every prayer, every thought,
every action,

vibrates on a certain level.
Raise the frequency of vibration;
raise it in your consciousness.
You are an instrument
of the Divine.
Let us show that we are this
instrument, not just by saying it,
also by our actions,
how we welcome everything.
-Sri Swami Vishwnanda

A Voice is Calling You

Inside, a voice is calling you to be free. Life is the most beautiful thing that God has given you. Don´t waste it. At the end, when life is departing this body and you look back you may say: 'Oh my God, I have missed so many choices, so many chances God has sent to me. My mind has been ruled by so many mistakes. I made myself blind. Why do I say, I make myself blind?'

The choice to be blind or to see is up to you. How does one do that? Do you do your sadhana every day? Do you, or not? How many among you do your sadhana regularly and I mean every day? You see, the spiritual sadhana helps you to free the mind and it helps you not to get entangled into this limitation. Inside, a voice is calling you to be free.

See Through Divine Eyes

Sri Swami Vishwananda: "Looking at the world with Divine eyes, you will see that the world is simply the radiated light of God shining through everything. Keep trying until you have come to this realization and never lose hope."

Kali: Divine Mother Liberates Karma Cycles

Kali in her beautiful form [this murti of Kali resides on the altar of a Croatian disciple of Swami Vishwananda
Kali's Fierce Form

Kali's fierce form is strewed with awesome symbols. Her black complexion symbolizes her all-embracing and transcendental nature. Says the Mahanirvana Tantra: "Just as all colors disappear in black, so all names and forms disappear in her". Her nudity is primeval, fundamental, and transparent like Nature — the earth, sea, and sky. Kali is free from the illusory covering, for she is beyond the all maya or "false consciousness." Kali's garland of fifty human heads that stands for the fifty letters in the Sanskrit alphabet, symbolizes infinite knowledge.

Kali's girdle of severed human hands signifies work and liberation from the cycle of karma. Her white teeth show her inner purity, and her red lolling tongue indicates her omnivorous nature — "her indiscriminate enjoyment of all the world's 'flavors'." Her sword is the destroyer of false consciousness and the eight bonds that bind us.

Kali's three eyes represent past, present, and future, — the three modes of time — an attribute that lies in the very name Kali ('Kala' in Sanskrit means time. The eminent translator ot Tantric texts, Sir John Woodroffe in Garland of Letters, writes, "Kali is so called because She devours Kala (Time) and then resumes Her own dark formlessness."

Kali's proximity to cremation grounds where the five elements or "Pancha Mahabhuta" come together, and all worldly attachments are absolved, again point to the cycle of birth and death. The reclined Shiva lying prostrate under the feet of Kali suggests that without the power of Kali (Shakti), Shiva is inert.

Utpalavati: Divine Mother Kali contains all aspects of Divine Mother within her. Among the Divine Mother aspects Kali embodies is the gentle, pure, beautiful, sweetness of Divine Mother Mary for her son: The Messiah, The Prince of Peace, The Holy Christ Jesus. Kali displayed this gentle and beautiful aspect-form of herself one night in Kolkata, India. In 2007, Swami Vishwananda devotees created a free medical camp in Kolkata, India at a Rama Krishna Ashram. Lines of people numbering 800 to 1,000 lined up each day in the sweltering, hot December sun. All ages of Kolkata’s poor with a plethora of illnesses came for help.

After their long wait in line, I remember the way the people smiled as they came away from their treasured time with a doctor clutching their medicines close. And the older people who received eye glasses had some of the broadest smiles as they proudly showed their new eyeglasses and their restored ability to see clearly to their friends or family. Swami Vishwananda, who was not physically there, nevertheless was present every moment. Many times as we felt hopeless in making a difference with such numbers and our limited time, facilities and the limited number of doctors, Swami would come in various ways, in spirit. Invariably, we would find ourselves uplifted to a higher plane of selfless service through Gurudev’s tangible, Divine Love.

One night after a very long day when we worked from 8 a.m. until 9 p.m., a small group of us decided to sing bhagans to Mother Kali in the Kali temple at the Rama Krishna Ashram where we were holding the medical camp. A small group of about nine orphan boys ranging in age from 6 to 14, who lived at the ashram, joined us. At one point in the chanting, I opened my eyes as I felt from within that Kali was standing in front of the altar looking at the orphan boys singing their hearts out to her, Divine Mother Kali.

To my amazement, there stood Mother Kali in a beautiful form with no blood, human body parts, or tongue hanging out of mouth. There she stood radiantly alive, smiling like Maha Lakshmi and with the gentle, sweet presence of Mother Mary. A soft, gentle Mother’s face looked at the happy, luminescent faces of the innocent children obviously singing with great love and devotion to her. Kali then looked over at me as I gazed at her beauty and her love for the children, as she ever so gently and lovingly said: “You all sang so sweetly.” Then she disappeared as my eyes were drawn to the Kali murti on the altar, the radiant, innocent, devoted faces of the young orphan boys and the sound of the Kali bhajan drawing to a close.

SATGURU’s GIFT

Mary Madalene at the Crucifixion of Master Christ Jesus

Swami Vishwananda:
T
he Satguru always comes to help the disciples to attain the Divine or to attain part of himself, as the all is Divine. He doesn’t change anything, because if one doesn’t make it in this life, it will be another life. It is never in vain. It can be also that in ten lives one will reach the Divine. But it doesn’t mean that the Satguru has to be there in every life. It can be that one takes a life seven times and is unhappy with this and that and the whole cycle of life; and nobody is there to guide. But know one thing: The love of the Satguru is always the same.

Satguru’s Gift

Whatever it takes to break the Human Heart,
And thereby inflame the Heart Spirit,
Is Divine Grace.

From the moment of birth in physical form
A tiny babe has been born from
The Holy Grail of woman.
And the seed of man is placed
Into conceptual, fertile space and time.
Once transference has taken place,
A soul divinely comes into alignment
With material, third-dimensional form.

A Satguru from beyond time and space,
Seemingly, is born into physical form.
In actuality, Satguru never is born nor is he physical,
A mystery from time out of mind…Divinely So!
Satguru appears from the divine nature of God
For only one purpose. . .
It is not for himself that he comes or goes.

The Satguru transcends
Time and space and light and dark,
As a gift from the Divine,
To awaken the divinity within all those who
Resonate with his heart, his form, and
His timeless message of Love forevermore.

The Satguru has a heart full of Divine Love
And a mind that has been cleansed
Of darkness,
And thereby registers
Only Divine Light Form.

Krishna’s cattle-herder’s dog wanders
On the mountain landscape of life.
He tends the cows and herds them home.
Eventually, the cattle-herder--the man,

Listens to the Voice within,
The Voice of Mahavatar Babaji. . .
Narayana-Vishnu. . .the Supreme,
Calling him home to higher vibration,
Calling, calling, calling him home.
And so it is with dog and man,
In this day and this time!

The Satguru comes when Divine Timing
Transcends space and time,
To tell all those who have
The eyes to see and the ears to hear. . .
It is time, my friends,
For dog and man to become
One Egoless Yogi,
And transcend time. . .
It is time, it is time, it is time.

Whatever it takes to break the Human Heart,
And thereby inflame the Heart Spirit,
Is Divine Grace.
