Divine Attainment

Radharani Krishna

You can quicken your way to the Divine and realize Him, or you can sit around and make it longer, which many people like to do. But everybody at the end will reach the Divine, because the essence of yourself is only Him. And only through this Love, when this Love really gets awakened and becomes like Radharani's Love (for Krishna), then there is no chance of not attaining Him. – Swami Vishwananda

IT'S About Time IT'S About Changes AND It's About Time

Sri Swami Vishwananda

If you want to change,
change now.

If you want to love,
love now.

If you want to open your heart,
open it now!

Haidakhan Babaji

This is a time of great change.
Change is merely Shiva’s dance.

Lower self is overwhelmed.
Higher self is unmoved.

Follow your heart and you will rise above
the challenge of change.

Letter from Babaji: MASTER KEY to Eradicating Fear

Mahavatar Babaji
Unity WIth The Divine
German Printing

Dearest Babaji, it is said that the only thing that stops us from love is fear. I can feel a lot of fear in myself. Paradoxically, the more love I feel, the more fear awakens inside of me. How…[may we] overcome this fear? (Comment on VBV yesterday March 26, 2010)

Letter from Mahavatar Kriya Babaji
Let us look at Epicurus work and philosophy pertaining to fear as it will serve us well in understanding why it is that your world today is rampant with fear everywhere…Babaji:

Epicures Ancient Greek Philosopher
(Note: Babaji directed me to Wikipedia and the information about Epicures--Utpalavati):
Epicures was an ancient Greek philosopher, and the founder of the school of philosophy called Epicureanism. For Epicurus, the purpose of philosophy was to attain the happy, tranquil life, characterized by ataraxia, peace and freedom from fear, and "aponia", the absence of pain, and by living a self-sufficient life surrounded by friends. He taught that pleasure and pain are the measures of what is good and evil, that death is the end of the body and the soul and should therefore not be feared. These are among his teachings.(Reference Wikipedia)

Epicurus never married and had no known children. He suffered from kidney stones, to which he finally succumbed in 270 BC at the age of 72, and despite the prolonged pain involved, he wrote to Idomeneus:

I have written this letter to you on a happy day to me, which is also the last day of my life. For I have been attacked by a painful inability to urinate, and also dysentery, so violent that nothing can be added to the violence of my sufferings. But the cheerfulness of my mind, which comes from the recollection of all my philosophical contemplation, counterbalances (Babaji's emphasis) all these afflictions. And I beg you to take care of the children of Metrodorus, in a manner worthy of the devotion shown by the young man to me, and to philosophy.

Whether one agrees with the basis of Epicurus' philosophical teachings or not, Epicurus achieved for himself the goal of life: He controlled his mind, he was happy and had equanimity of mind while suffering greatly in the physical body and he knew the time he would take samadhi. It is not written that Epicurus was an Enlightened Master and that he exited the body consciously and willingly as an Enlightened Master. Today, I assure you that he did so.! Be aware that the conscious mind does not have all the capability of an omniscient one to judge a fellow human being. Epicurus has been judged as teaching erroneous philosophy but I tell you truly, anyone who perceives and understands truly how he lived and died knows. His life was lived in secret as an Enlightened Master and he was thought of as a philosopher. This shows his humbleness in doing the work of the Divine without attachment to the fruits or the rewards.

T
o those of you in fear in this day and time and who are asking the question of how to eradicate it, let the life of Epicurus be an example. Look at how he lived and died and not specifically at his world of philosophy. Many Masters and Enlightened Beings teach in this Divinely ordained and "secret" way. Those with true desire and perception to perceive the truth of these Masters do so!

Fear may be defined as 1. To be afraid or frightened of. 2. To be uneasy or apprehensive about. In your world today, fear is rampant. Why is that? As the Kali Yuga merges into the next age and they mingle and contain the vibration of both ages, people feel like they are being pulled this way and that way. It is as if they have one foot in one boat and one foot in another, and they fear falling into the ocean; they feel off-balance.

The vibrational shifting of change that is evident to almost every one on the planet today, provides an opportunity to search for the truth of life on Earth. Many people search at the polarity of sense overload. Sensory pleasures are explored as never before in mankind’s present age. People seek peace and pleasure in gratifying and saturating physical sensation such as in food, intoxicating drinks, drugs, sexual perversion of all types, power games of every nature, and accumulating wealth for the sake of the power and praise it provides.

On the other polarity people are seeking for an understanding in spiritual dimensions as more leisure time allows for such as the necessities of life are provided for many people in the world with less time and effort. And true to the teaching of the Master Christ: “The poor ye always have with you.” Many of you on the spiritual path chose before incarnation to create fear in your lives to such an extent that it keeps you focused on the Divine, and your inner world. And many of you now wish to rid yourselves of it! To those of you with this programming within, you suffer in a small way like the martyrs for the Divine, the Divine within you and for its liberation into higher vibrations. Pray and meditate and chant the name of the Divine and sincerely and committedly request that you attain the equanimity of mind of your ancestor Epicurus--even as your fear may be overwhelming to the physical body at times!

Look at people in your spiritual circles, and when you really know people, many live in fear of this or that, of when and where. On the spiritual path, the final detachment is detachment from the body. Remember the story when I requested that a disciple carry a message to Lahiri Mahasaya that his time in the body was drawing to a close? Lahiri's body shook as if in shock for a few moments? Even Enlightened Masters must balance the vibration of fear of leaving the body, although as in Lahiri’s case, it is fleeting and momentary. And Lahiri already knew when his time was to go also.

To all of you who have this question of fear and how to balance it, I have given some examples of how you may choose to Let It Be! Both polarities of people on the planet resonating with fear are attempting to eliminate it, but in dissimilar ways, isn’t it? Yet both polarities have a common bond as both are One in the greater reality. So Be It.

I am ever available in your inner world, please remember that. One who forever loves you. -Babaji

DIVINE ATOMS

Swami Vishwananda speaks about divine atoms in the physical body & Mahavatar Babaji offers an excerpt from Unity With The Divine pertaining to the rainbow light within the spiritual heart of mankind.

Swami Vishwananda: Sadhana and all spiritual practices that you do are not mere practices. Sadhana is not exclusively done so that you may say, “I did Yoga today, or I did Atma Kriya today, or I did OM Healing today." Spiritual practices are about more than that. Sadhana is about the one who does spiritual practices realizing that he is Divine. We say that each atom in our body is Divine. When we know we are divine in our heart, we ultimately will realize it. He [God] pervades everything. Until you become the channel of it and until you start beaming [radiating] it, there is a lot of purification still to come.

Mahavatar Babaji: Excerpt from Unity With The Divine: …[In] Babaji’s heart area a sphere of vibrating, magnificent, luminescent rainbow colors appear as spherical bands of color...red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. Each spherical rotation of the individual color bands transmits an audible sound vibration that resonates with the sound of creation—OM.…

Learn to remember that ecstasy and sorrow are the same when experienced with equanimity of mind and soul. Learn to conquer the Earth experience of physicality and you will see your own vibrating color wheel of creative energy within your heart. [As Swami Vishwananda says above: “Each atom in our body is Divine.”] That which I Am, you are. I am ever available to you who attune to my vibration of light. I love you eternally. Come home to light and welcome from One who has loved you always. —Babaji

OM Purification With Divine Light

This week in Shree Peetha Nilaya in Germany, Swami Vishwananda has an ATMA KRIYA course in progress.
OM HEALING is included in Atma Kriya.

OM Ajna Chakra
OM Meditation with Swami Vishwananda:
  • I ask you, please, to sit straight if possible.
  • Firstly take a few deep breaths. Inhale and exhale.
  • When you exhale, please drop your shoulders, because when you inhale your shoulders go up and you put pressure on yourself.
  • When you exhale, breathe out all the carbon dioxide. Breathe out all the air that you have in your stomach. Let your stomach go in, drop your shoulders.
  • Breathe five to six times. – Pause -
  • Now we give a game to the mind to play. Use the mind. Listen to your breath. Listen how you are breathing, how you are inhaling and how you are exhaling. Listen how beautiful it is, this sound.
  • Now use your mind, focusing it on the third eye. Create an OM sign there. Or any sign you like.
  • Each time you inhale you see the light, the OM becomes brighter and brighter. Imagine it, create it. You are children of God, you are part of God. So as he is the creator you all are the Creator also, so you create.
  • Now let the OM expand and let the light become more bright. There will come a point where you will not even see the OM. It will just be light.
  • Bring the light from your forehead to your right eye than to your left eye. Say to this light: Purify my eyes and heal them. – Pause –
  • Now bring the light to your right nostril of your nose, than to the left. Tell to the light: purify my nose and my smell. – Pause –
  • Bring the light to your right ear, than to the left one. Say to the light: Purify my ears so that I can hear your name always. – Pause-
  • Bring the light to your head. Say to the light: Purify my mind that I can always think positive about myself and others. – Pause –
  • Bring the light to your mouth. Say to the light: Purify my mouth that whatever I speak is out of love. That I may control my tongue. – Pause –
  • Bring the light to your right arm and hand than to the left. Say to the light: Purify my hands that I am always ready to help. – Pause -
  • Bring the light to your legs and feet, the right one and than the left one. Say to the light: purify my feet that I always walk the right path. – Pause –
  • Bring the light to your heart. Feel the light in your heart and go deeper into the light. Say to the light. Make my heart that I love unconditionally. – Pause -
  • Stay focused in your heart
  • Slowly open your eyes.
  • Chant with me.
  • We will Chant OM eleven times. As you inhale, and when you chant OM, let it vibrate in your chest.

FAITH of the Heart and Soul-Atma

Sri Swami Vishwananda’s message to Atma Kriya students on March 22, 2010 encouraged the students to: “Remember to practice Atma Kriya with Faith, and you will see the benefits.”

From a talk on February 5, 2010 Swami spoke about faith: A few months back I explained that somebody went to a saint and said, “Oh, Mr. Saint, please, heal me.” And the saint said, “Just take this medicine and you will get well.” What makes it happen [the healing]? It’s the faith that the Saint has that causes the person to get healed. So this faith makes everything happen. Faith makes the healing happen and resolves all of your problems.

Master
Christ Jesus
taught that if you have the faith of a mustard seed, you can move a mountain!

“For we walk by faith, not by sight. "

Mahatma
Gandhi
:

"Faith... must be enforced by reason... when faith becomes blind, it dies.” “But for my faith in God, I should have been a raving maniac!”

Jai Guru Dev,
I send you my love!

I wanted to remind everyone of the importance of practicing ATMA Kriya! If you have very little time to practice regularly, please try as often as possible! It will be useful not only for yourself, but also for your fellow human beings, and of course, for the whole world! I ask you also, to distribute ATMA Kriya. Help give many people the possibility to reach the Divine. Remember to practice Atma Kriya with Faith, and you will see the benefits.

May the Divine bless you all.

Jai Guru Dev,
Sri Swami Vishwananda

Mahavatar Kriya Babaji:
"Go within your inner self in meditation and there you will find your own pure sathya, truth. In so doing you will unearth the universe, the whole cosmos that lies within you."

VBV BLOG ENTRY TODAY

Krishna Narayanaya OM
Krishna-Narayanaya-Vishnu – From the Gita: "I am the Self, Arjuna, seated in the heart of every creature. Beyond comparison of the Eternal with the non-eternal am I, Who am called by scriptures and sages, the Supreme Personality, the Highest God.

Sri Swami Vishwananda: Why? Tell me. Why do the demigods and Goddesses envy human beings? Actually, the human being in the ladder of creation is the top. It’s true, because only by attaining a human body, a human life, can you really attain the Creator and actually become one with the Creator."

Service to Man is Service to God

In March, Sri Swami Vishwananda went to Kenya, Africa where he visited the house for handicapped children and the seva group he inspired 5 years ago. After his return, before a Darshan, he shared pictures from this project, and gave a beautiful talk that made us remember how much we can be grateful; and also the importance of helping others. COMMENTS of Swami Vishwananda pertaining to the pictures from the Vishwananda Seva Project in Kenya, Africa (see Flikr Link below):

1. This is the home for children. I tell you something, when you look at their eyes there is so much joy in them. When they smile, it’s truly from the heart. It’s not just for the sake of smiling but really from deep within them that their smile comes and you really feel it.

2. This is some wheelchairs that we gave.

3. Look in their eyes.

4. Even if they are disabled, there is love.

5. This is the group when we went there the second time.

6. This is the blind children. This is 5 years ago actually.

7. This is amazing, this picture now. This is 3 children from three confessions. One is Muslim, the middle one is Christian, and the third one, I think his mom or dad is Hindu and the other parent is local, but they are all blind. When they prayed, they were all sitting on the same table, but each one was doing his own prayer in his own language, in his own faith.

8. Some of these children don’t even have spines.

9. What they are doing there is teaching the children to be self sufficient so they don’t have to be dependent on anyone.

10. They cook the food there.

11. This is the seva group there.

12. These children here, they don’t have spines.

13. You see he’s eating with his feet. I will tell you something amazing, I was sitting with him and it reminded me of an uncle my mum had, he was a brother of my grandma; he also was handicapped of the hands, but with the feet he could eat. He could draw the most amazing pictures and this boy also is the same. He can write better than my own handwriting.

14. They are cutting the vegetables.

15. This is the children with the brains that get big and the parents can’t even help them, they can’t do anything. Some of them are just thrown away, just like that, in the bin. You see in this culture there, it’s like this, when a child is born handicapped, they always think that it is from the devil, most of them. They think it’s a curse. So because of fear of society, they throw their children away; they throw them in the bin. Sometimes they leave them right in front of
the home, they just leave them.

16. That’s Rakesh which is standing there; he’s in charge of the seva group. It’s him who is pushing the group there into this seva direction.

17. They are handicapped, but they help each other. Sometimes people have their feet, everything is perfect, but they never help someone else.

18. You see here, this girl, the one which is taking the biscuit right now, she was so sweet. It was nice because next to her there was another boy and before she would eat, she would feed him first.

So, I guess that’s it. Just a little bit, I didn’t want to shock you or anything, but to show you so that you can open your heart more. There are people who need help, a lot of people who need help; of course we all need help, but there are people who need help more than us. So think about that. Jai Gurudev.

Focusing on the Eyes of the Heart

MEDITATION
FROM SWAMI VISHWANANDA

Focusing on the Eyes of the Heart

Take a deep breath in. Slowly inhale and slowly exhale. Concentrate on your heart chakra. Go deeper and deeper in it. When your mind is thinking; don’t give importance to it. Let the thoughts pass like the wind is passing through all of you. Whatever passes through the mind, let it go. Keep your concentration focused on the heart chakra. Feel the love, the joy, the happiness that is coming out of it; the warmness from deep within you. It is radiating all over your body. The whole body is reflecting this powerful Divine light and love. You are just enjoying this love. You are imbued with it. You feel such blissful happiness, that you never felt before. Remember not to fight whatever is passing through your mind, but just not give it any importance. Let yourself go deeper and deeper into it now. (From SSV Talks 2005)

Letter from Babaji - It is Time to Simplify

Mahavatar Kriya Babaji

Comment from yesterday's entry, "Cry: God Reveal Yourself," from a talk given by Swami Vishwananda.: "Dear Babaji, please, teach us, how to increase this love of God, how to love the Infinite One.''

Mahavatar Babaji: Many masters have come to planet Earth and many spiritual traditions exist throughout the world that countless Masters have begun through their teachings. Now is the time to simplify. All the voluminous spiritual writings throughout the ages have served as inspiration and a tool for mankind to increase faith on his path back to the Infinite One. In present day, at the click of an Internet key, one can instantaneously read on any subject under the sun. And it has been said, "There is nothing new under the sun."The human brain is on overwhelm! Thoughts run wild and uncontrolled in most minds today. Now is the time to simply, calm the thoughts and control the restless mind.

Swami Vishwananda has brought you Atma Kriya which can bring you to Self-God realization, "increasing this love of God" that was asked about in the comment. Do you practice Atma Kriya? Do you wish the Master to wave a magic wand and your love for God is thereby increased? We can only point the way, each individual must do the inner work himself!

In the midst of all this we have written above, the Infinite Loving Lord, the Divine Mother, herself, has sent Swami Vishwananda to you. Have you noticed that his talks are most always short, perhaps 15 minutes? Have you noticed that he does not quote long passages from the Vedic or Christian scriptures or any scriptures? He speaks simply and to the point with inspirational stories and quotes straight, short and to the point! Swami Vishwananda always leads you to go within your own heart and to find the Divine Love, which you truly are, and then spread it everywhere. This is his mission! He is on the planet for you all, and not for himself! And he has endured criticism for his "simple" teachings, but he lovingly continues to show you how to love from the heart! Why is that do you think? It is time to simplify!

Cry: God Reveal Yourself

Look at the life of Jesus.; it's so beautiful. He taught mankind how to transcend the ego into the Divine Self. When you go deeper into the mystery of it, you will see that Krishna has taught the same. He has shown it to mankind. We also have to continuously remind ourselves that we are the children of God. Whenever we have a problem we identify ourselves with the problem and say: "Oh, God has turned his back on us." We don't realize that we have turned our back on ourselves. If we look deeper within by turning our gaze inwardly, we would find the solution for every problem. Everything that you want to know, it's just there.

Forget about the mind and just enter the heart and don't be scared to let the heart open. You will say, "Oh, if I open my heart, I will get hurt!" No! just let it happen; don't think about it. You are here to love; just love, nothing else.

...Open up your heart: Cry to God, asking: "God reveal yourself. Help me that I can call myself the son of God, the child of God! Finally you can say the same as Christ did: "Oh, yes, I am One with God." (From SSV Talks 2005)

WHISPERS from ETERNITY

Whispers from Eternity:
The Eternal Voice softly said to me: "Through thy slumber of ages I whispered, 'Wake thyself!' Thou hast forsaken thy sleep, so now I say: 'Wake thy brothers!' Work thou with Me, that all men have My word.'

"I shall broadcast thy message, I promised." "And when I leave my Earthly form, I shall borrow thine omnipresent Voice to murmur within each receptive heart, O Listen to His soul-solacing songs!"

My countless brothers, I shall wait for all! As they slowly travel in a seemingly endless procession toward the blissful goal of Self-realization, through Whispers of Eternity I shall gently say: "Awake! Following His ever-calling voice, let us go home together.

-Paramahansa Yogananda from Whispers from Eternity

Swami Teaches Divine Benefit of Charity

Help doesn’t mean that everybody has to go to a home and help this kind of people (like for the blind children in Kenya where Swami had just returned from his trip to Kenya, Africa). -Swami Vishwananda

Swami Vishwananda: Once somebody went to a Saint, and said, “Dear Saint, tell me how would I love the same way you love?" He was a doctor. The saint closed his eyes and thought for awhile and said, “My dear Doctor, I know you treat a lot of people, but all that you do, you treat people but you always take money. So, do one thing: once a week, treat for free whoever comes to you; give your treatment for free."

So the doctor listened to the Saint and he practiced what the doctor said up to two months. The saint approached him again and said, “How are you?" He saw that the doctor was radiating so much joy and happiness, he said to the doctor, “You seem very happy nowadays." And the doctor said to the saint, “Yes, dear Saint, I have taken what you have said to me and I have practiced it. Once a week I have given free treatment to everybody who comes and truly this has opened my heart and this has made me really feel a great happiness inside of me."

You see, when you start to think also of others, God will give you the most important thing. Someone will say, “Yes, many people help.” Yes, there are many people who help, but the help doesn’t come from their heart. Help, which means everything, you can go in nature and do simple help like plant a tree where it is needed…Help doesn’t mean that everybody has to go to a home and help this kind of people (like for the blind children in Kenya where Swami had just returned from his trip to Kenya, Africa).

The following comment was placed on VBV today. Thinking it a lovely story of the Grace of Divine Mother Lakshmi, we have placed it on the blog entry as well as the comment section:

Kanakadhara Stotram Story and Video Link below:
One day in the sacred Rishi tradition Bhagvadpada Sri Adi Sankarachrya went to one old woman's house for alms (biksha). She was so poor, she was not having a proper dress and anything worth the name to give as biksha. So with the entrance door of her house slightly ajar, she reached out swamiji with her hand stretched and dropped one amlaka fruit (which was the only thing available in her house) into the hands of Sri Sankaracharya.

Sri Sankaracharya was deeply touched at the plight and haplessness of the woman - So he chanted the Kanakadhara Stotram and prayed to Goddess Lakshmi to extend Her Grace on the woman. The giver of wealth, Goddess Lakshmi, showered as rain - Golden Amlaka fruits in the house of the old woman. This Stotram has been acclaimed as Kanaka Dharaa Stavam - and it is sure to bless all devotees who extol Sri Devi with all unflinching devotion. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VdSu0wdB81M

DARSHAN: Kenya Blind Children Seva Project

Excerpt from Swami Vishwananda Darshan Talk
March 13, 2010 & STREAMING LINK (recorded live)
(Excerpt from Darshan Talk March 13, 2010) Jai Guru Dev: As most of you know, I have just returned from Kenya. Actually, I will not talk a lot today, but I would like to share something with you. The seva group there, since I started it already five years or six years ago, have been carrying on the seva to the handicapped children, or blind children.

I will share this with you because we have to be grateful to God, to Divine Mother for we are full, complete. We can use our hands; we can use each part of our body. There’s no point of complaining, but yet many people, in spite of having everything working properly, they like complaining. Very often I say that what you see sometimes in the eyes of people who don’t have much, you don’t see in the eyes of people who have a lot. Often people who have a lot are never satisfied with life; they are never satisfied with what they have. You know very well, the more somebody that is in the material world, the more one has, the more one wants always more. So the mind always runs on the outside, forgetting that we are not here to run in the outside, we are here to run in the inside.

This trip to Kenya—I went after 3 ½ years… It was an amazing five days! The day we arrived in the afternoon, we went directly to the home to see the handicapped children. The next day there was darshan. So I was very, very busy. Most every day we would be up until two or three o’clock in the morning, but it’s worthy. The seva group there which has carried on this work; it’s amazing. So I will just share a little bit, a few pictures so you can see the project in Kenya. And continue after seeing that; look at yourself, at your life how it is. Thank God for whatever God has given you, and be grateful about life. And also wake up inside of you the spirit of helping.

We are all running after the love of God, because He is the love of God? The love of God is the love that you can express; you express it towards the Divine. And of course you don’t only go to God to express your love, but you do know someone who needs help. And it is said if you want to experience the love of God: help; do charity. This will open the heart. Because when you do charity, you don’t think of yourself, but you think of serving. That’s what Christ said, “The least you do to my brothers, you also are doing it up to me. So the little you do to someone who really needs, you are doing it to the Lord, to God. In return He is giving you much more, and He is filling your heart with lots of love.

Be Alive in the Present Moment

Swami Vishwananda
We are living in a dreaming state. When we get awakened, we will see the reality. But this reality is not to be understood with the mind. That’s what human beings are here for: To attain this reality of who you are. We will attain this reality only through unconditional love, the same love that He loves us. Do you think His love is bound by any limitation or what we understand of Him? The love of God is not bound by anything, only by the love of His devotee.

Mahavator Babaji
Lo, from the dawn of time man has used his imagination as a pathway to freedom. The so-called imagination is within the mind and heart system of man given life from his first breath originating from the Source (The Divine). Then let us use this imagination or will of man to further our knowledge, experience and love of the Divine Light Principle from whence we first came in our beginning—without beginning and without end…

In present time we go often from day to day in our lives as if on remote control. We begin our days and end our days in exactly the same ways. We act as if we are sleep-walking and our lives often become routine as we choose to live by rote. Meditation is a way for mankind to awaken the central core of our being and, thereby, his life may become what it was meant to be in the beginning of beginnings.

Man may live with the capacity to be happy, to be free, and to be alive in the present moment without continually looking backward or forward in the present moment. In that way of being stands your life-force ability to weep in overwhelming sadness or feel and express great joy, both with the purest equanimity. Control of the mind is required to do this. OUR MISSION is to Help You All

Swami Vishwananda with Babaji Murti in Babaji Cave at Springen Center Mahavatar Babaji: “…And so the populace of the world at present sits on a precipice within the mind in fear of what man has created, and what he must live in the waking state. And he fears even more the void or unknown that jumping off the cliff offers if he decides to explore his inner world, his essence, that place where the real Self, the essence is revealed. It is that inner space I wish to assist you in searching out the courage to explore in these Epistles sent to you with most sincere Divine love.” -Mahavatar Babaji (Excerpted from Unity With The Divine, Transmitted from Babaji to Utpalavati).

Letter from Mahavatar Babaji

Mahavatar Kriya Babaji
“I want to have Satsang/Deeksha with Babaji. Please teach me what steps to follow,” someone placed into comments on Virtual-Babaji-Vishwananda yesterday.

Mahavatar Babaji responds: Greetings, dear friends – Deeksha or Diksha has become known in contemporary times as the “Shakti or Energy Blessing.” Enlightened Masters, through their grace, offer the gift of Deeksha as shakti, the divine life-giving, enhancing energy which is transmitted from the Master to the person receiving the blessing. You ask what steps you may take to reach the Deeksha and Satsang of Babaji. You surely know that chanting the Divine name of your choice, prayer and meditation are ways to create this for yourself.

Come along with me in your imagination on a journey within. Gaze for a few minutes at the picture of me, that we have placed herein, and that a very talented and divinely inspired artist has envisioned of my form. Then simply close your eyes in a quiet place and be with your Self in calmness. See me in the Ajna, third eye area. Let your thoughts drift as if on a cloud, up and away. Do not hang on any of them. Imagine that thoughts are on a journey through your mind and it is not polite to detain them.

Think of me now seated in your heart in any way you imagine me to be, and I will be there with you in the form you choose; be it Light, or a seemingly physical form or whatever you prefer. I am ever available to all of you who call my name, any name by which you know me. It truly is simple; Satsang/Deelsha with Babaji is available like a cosmic umbrella of sunshine that shines on all equally. There is one important thing you must do, however. You must want it sincerely, as your teacher, Swami Vishwananda, tells you continuously. It is truth. It is written and It is so. Have the Satsang/Deeksha with me that your heart truly desires. It will be so!

Atma Kriya, as I have given to Swami Vishwananda connects you with my vibration, my Shakti/Deeksha, my being, my love, my company, that which is known as Satsang. Atma Kriya, you very well know, is one step you may take to reach me. Christ taught you to pray: “Our Father who art in heaven…,” do this. And Christ said, “Greater things than I have done, ye will do;” truly greater than Satsang with Babaji, you may reach Self-God-Realization with Atma Kriya. It is so!

In my book, Unity With The Divine, I have placed a Forty Day Meditation. This is another step you may take to call forth Satsang/Deeksha with me. Many of you have done this, isn’t it, Ranjini – Tarun, and all of you? Through the grace and efforts of Swami Vishwananda and his disciples, Unity is printed now in English, its birth language, and the Polish and German languages. The meditation is readily available as it may be sent to any of you through email as well.

It is ever easy to find me; you sincerely must wish it as Swami Vishwananda informs you. I am nearer than the breath you breathe, for truthfully, I am in your heart and I am in every cell that is you. That is all!

I Am Babaji, one who readily is available to each of you who sincerely seek freedom in this Kali Age, when simply chanting the name of the Divine has the potential to bring you home. Let it be so!

FASTEST APPROACH TO GOD

During Satsang on March 5, 2010 - question: Concerning service to God what is the fastest approach? (a) To pray to God in silence and have faith that God is listening to us and the answer will come in due time. (b) As you (SV) are here in a physical body with us, tell you the prayer and ask for your service. Swami’s response: A is best. You just listen in silence deep within your heart. Whenever you talk to Him, he is listening. Whether you come here to talk to me or not doesn’t matter. He is the one who is listening to all the prayers. When you pray to Him, he hears your prayer. So whenever you have a prayer, address it to Him and he will hear it faster. Laughingly, Swami then said: ‘And if you still want help, then come to me.’

Judging Masters and Others

Mahavatar Kriya Babaji & Swami Vishwananda
Mahavatar Kriya Babaji:
"The Divine has sent to Earth Enlightened Masters from the realms of greater consciousness elevated in vibration beyond the vibratory level of the third dimension of this world. The masters show you the way, a path to freedom through their actions. 'By their fruits, ye shall know them,' the Christ taught. And so it is!

"Be ever vigilant when you decide to judge the words and actions of an Enlightened Master. Perhaps you do not yet remember that you eternally are enlightened but your purity is hidden by maya. If that is so for you, please remember that you do not have the knowledge of a Master's intent and his range of omniscient perception. Therefore your judgement must be purified by the removal of the veil of illusion, maya, before you have the discernment to become fully aware of the truth of enlightened Masters' words and actions." (Excerpted from "Unity With The Divine," transmitted from Mahavatar Kriya Babaji to Utpalavati)

Swami Vishwananda:
"Obedience doesn’t mean slavery! Often people think that to be obedient is just to become the slave of the master. No! It’s the opposite, actually. It’s not you, who is the slave of the master; but it’s the master, who is the slave of you...

"It’s sad to see that nowadays when people come together it’s mostly to talk about other people, to gossip about what the other person has been doing. But what the person has done is not your business; it’s the person’s business. Mind your own business; but that’s what people do not do nowadays. They don’t look at themselves, but they do look at others, forgetting what Christ said: 'The fault that you see in other people, the judgment you put onto others is your own judgment towards yourself.' "

Unpleasant Situations Teach Humility

Swami Vishwananda Darshan March 5 2010
In a situation that is unpleasant...the best is to pray for help, and meditate to look inside to see what God wants us to learn in any situation, and pray for God to help us transcend it. It’s true sometimes that things come on the way that we don’t understand. Even if you try to understand, you find it very difficult. It’s simple, you see everybody wants their own idea to be heard first, and they don’t want anybody else; because if you have already made up your mind about something, thousands of people can tell you to do something differently and you will have some difficulties of doing it. In your mind you already have planned it, you have expected.

Very often people come and ask me questions and I tell them, and sometimes they are happy and sometimes they are not happy. You see people want to hear what they want to hear, but in every situation we can learn so much. We talk about humility. This is one way of building up humility, to be able to learn from others even from a situation which is wrong, but we have to stay in a state of non-judgment.

JUST BECAUSE

John Denver
TODAY - JUST BECAUSE:
1. Something just profoundly ordinary...
2. Something just profoundly etheric-like...
3. Maybe they are just profoundly O N E !
4. MAYBE A RELEVANT COMMENT TODAY

1. Some Days Are Diamonds - John Denver

When You asked how I've been here without you,
I'd like to say I've been fine and I do.
But we both know the truth is hard to come by.
And if I told the truth, that's not quite true.
Some days are diamonds; some days are stones.
Sometimes the hard times won't leave me alone.
Sometimes a cold wind blows a chill in my bones.
Some days are diamonds; some days are stones.

Now the face that I see in my mirror,
More and more is a stranger to me.
More and more I can see there's a danger
In becoming what I never thought I'd be.
Some days are diamonds; some days are stones.
Sometimes the hard times won't leave me alone.
Sometimes a cold wind blows a chill in my bones.
Some days are diamonds; some days are stones.

2, Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace:
St. Francis

Where there is hatred... let me sow love.
Where there is injury... pardon.
Where there is discord... unity.
Where there is doubt... faith.
Where there is error... truth.
Where there is despair... hope.
Where there is sadness... joy.
Where there is darkness... light.

Oh Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek:
To be consoled... as to console.
To be understood... as to understand.
To be loved... as to love.

For:
It is in giving... that we receive.
It is in pardoning... that we are pardoned.
It is in dying... that we are born to eternal life.

3. Maybe there really is just O N E !

JUST BECAUSE: COMMENT

COMMENT by Anonymous:
An aspirant's TRUST in GOD or GURU should be strong and permanent. If a foundation is strong then only multi storied buildings can be built over it. If the foundation is shaky, the building standing on it will collapse. Similarly if the true aspirant's Trust is shaky some of the spiritual benefits accrued will be lost and further progress will be drastically affected.

If an aspirant has kept faith in his human Guru, whatever may happen to his/her Guru, the aspirant should not at all be bothered. (We know...that is a hard one). It is the TRUST that the aspirant keeps on his/her Guru that counts, not the guru's charisma. If the Guru's charisma is great ,but the aspirant's faith is less OR if the Gurus charisma is less, but the aspirant's Trust is abundant, it directly affects the progress of aspirant. In the former case aspirant will not gain much and in the later case the aspirant gains tremendously. Therefore, only TRUST is the yardstick to measure aspirant's spirituality.

In fact the aspirant should keep Trust not on his Guru's body / form, but in the Almighty God's presence in the Guru which is the Real GURU for the aspirant. If the Guru's body dies, the Real Guru doesn't die; if some blame comes to the guru's body, nothing affects the Real Guru. Therefore, absolutely nothing bad happens to the aspirant's Real Guru and when this is the case the aspirant is safe. The Guru's body is only a sign board --- The aspirant should move forward as per the direction shown on the sign board. The aspirant should continue his/her spiritual journey keeping his/her tremendous faith in the God inside his/her Guru. After all one fine day the aspirant will have to move from the body consciousness of his/her Guru or SADGURU towards the BRAHMAN CONSCIOUSNESS. (Or Christ Consciousness, Cosmic Consciousness, Krishna Consciousness, ONENESS).

ATMA KRIYA - Swami Answers #4

“…the 5th Level (of Atma Kriya) is not here in this world. 1, 2, 3, 4 is given in this dimension. The 5th one is given in the upper dimension. Of course, the first one, itself, very often people find it difficult to practice. When will they do the second one? So they have to show their dedication to the first one. When we talk about Atma Kriya, we talk about the whole Atma Kriya; we don’t talk only of the first level…” -Swami Vishwananda

H O L I - in the Kingdom of Vishwananda

The Face of Holi in the Kingdom of Vishwananda

H O L I - The Festival Story
of Hiranyakashapu and Prahlad

There was once a demon king by the name of Hiranyakashyapu who won over the kingdom of Earth. He was so egoistic that he commanded everybody in his kingdom to worship only him. But to his great disappointment, his son, Prahlad became an ardent devotee of Lord Naarayana and refused to worship his father, Hiranyakashyapu.

Finally, Hiranyakashyapu asked Prahlad's sister, Holika to enter a blazing fire with Prahlad in her lap. For, Hiranyakashyapu knew that Holika had a boon, whereby, she could enter the fire unscathed. Treacherously, Holika coaxed young Prahlad to sit in her lap and she herself took her seat in a blazing fire. The story has it that Holika had to pay the price of her sinister desire by her life. Holika was not aware that the boon worked only when she entered the fire alone. Prahlad, who kept chanting the name of Lord Naarayana all this while, came out unharmed, as the lord blessed him for his extreme devotion.

Thus, Holi derives its name from Holika, and, is celebrated as a festival of victory of good over evil. Holi is also celebrated as the triumph of a devotee. As the story depicts that anybody, howsoever strong, cannot harm a true devotee. And, those who dare torture a true devotee of God shall be reduced to ashes. Celebration of the story even today, is honored with people enacting the scene of 'Holika's burning to ashes' every year to mark the victory of good over evil. In several states of India, specially in the north, effigies of Holika are burnt in the huge bonfires. There is even a practice of hurling cow dung into the fire and shouting 'Holi-hai! Holi-hai!'.

The tradition of burning 'Holika' is religiously followed in Gujarat and Orissa also. Here, people render their gratitude to Agni, the god of fire by offering gram and stalks from the harvest with all humility. Further, on the last day of Holi, people take a little fire from the bonfire to their homes. It is believed that by following this custom their homes will be rendered pure and their bodies will be free from disease. At several places there is also a tradition of cleaning homes, removing all dirty articles from around the house and burning them. Disease-breeding bacteria are thereby destroyed and the sanitary condition of the locality is improved.
