Narayana-Vishnu, is the vedantic conception for the Eternal (ayana) Purusha (Nara), the Supreme divinity. This marvelous hymn extols Narayana as`all that is manifest and unmanifest.' It beautifully and symbolically describes the soul of man, atman, as the spark of the Supreme.
