From the Hanuman Chalisa: “Aura Devata Chitta na dharayi, Hanumata se yi sarva sukha karayi.” — Meaning: If you pray only to Hanuman, you will receive the blessing of all the Deities.
HANUMAN CHALISA (with lyrics)
This is a time of great change.
Change is merely Shiva’s dance.
Lower self is overwhelmed.
Higher self is unmoved.
Follow your heart and you will rise above
the challenge of change.
Paramahansa Yogananda
Thinkers do not accept the inevitable;
they turn their efforts toward changing it.
It's About Time - It's About Changes & It's About Time
Dearest Babaji, it is said that the only thing that stops us from love is fear. I can feel a lot of fear in myself. Paradoxically, the more love I feel, the more fear awakens inside of me. How…[may we] overcome this fear? (Comment on VBV yesterday March 26, 2010)
Letter from Mahavatar Kriya Babaji
Let us look at Epicurus work and philosophy pertaining to fear as it will serve us well in understanding why it is that your world today is rampant with fear everywhere…Babaji:
Epicures Ancient Greek Philosopher(Note: Babaji directed me to Wikipedia and the information about Epicures--Utpalavati):
Epicures was an ancient Greek philosopher, and the founder of the school of philosophy called Epicureanism. For Epicurus, the purpose of philosophy was to attain the happy, tranquil life, characterized by ataraxia, peace and freedom from fear, and "aponia", the absence of pain, and by living a self-sufficient life surrounded by friends. He taught that pleasure and pain are the measures of what is good and evil, that death is the end of the body and the soul and should therefore not be feared. These are among his teachings.(Reference Wikipedia)
Epicurus never married and had no known children. He suffered from kidney stones, to which he finally succumbed in 270 BC at the age of 72, and despite the prolonged pain involved, he wrote to Idomeneus:
I have written this letter to you on a happy day to me, which is also the last day of my life. For I have been attacked by a painful inability to urinate, and also dysentery, so violent that nothing can be added to the violence of my sufferings. But the cheerfulness of my mind, which comes from the recollection of all my philosophical contemplation, counterbalances (Babaji's emphasis) all these afflictions. And I beg you to take care of the children of Metrodorus, in a manner worthy of the devotion shown by the young man to me, and to philosophy.
Whether one agrees with the basis of Epicurus' philosophical teachings or not, Epicurus achieved for himself the goal of life: He controlled his mind, he was happy and had equanimity of mind while suffering greatly in the physical body and he knew the time he would take samadhi. It is not written that Epicurus was an Enlightened Master and that he exited the body consciously and willingly as an Enlightened Master. Today, I assure you that he did so.! Be aware that the conscious mind does not have all the capability of an omniscient one to judge a fellow human being. Epicurus has been judged as teaching erroneous philosophy but I tell you truly, anyone who perceives and understands truly how he lived and died knows. His life was lived in secret as an Enlightened Master and he was thought of as a philosopher. This shows his humbleness in doing the work of the Divine without attachment to the fruits or the rewards.
To those of you in fear in this day and time and who are asking the question of how to eradicate it, let the life of Epicurus be an example. Look at how he lived and died and not specifically at his world of philosophy. Many Masters and Enlightened Beings teach in this Divinely ordained and "secret" way. Those with true desire and perception to perceive the truth of these Masters do so!
Fear may be defined as 1. To be afraid or frightened of. 2. To be uneasy or apprehensive about. In your world today, fear is rampant. Why is that? As the Kali Yuga merges into the next age and they mingle and contain the vibration of both ages, people feel like they are being pulled this way and that way. It is as if they have one foot in one boat and one foot in another, and they fear falling into the ocean; they feel off-balance.
The vibrational shifting of change that is evident to almost every one on the planet today, provides an opportunity to search for the truth of life on Earth. Many people search at the polarity of sense overload. Sensory pleasures are explored as never before in mankind’s present age. People seek peace and pleasure in gratifying and saturating physical sensation such as in food, intoxicating drinks, drugs, sexual perversion of all types, power games of every nature, and accumulating wealth for the sake of the power and praise it provides.
On the other polarity people are seeking for an understanding in spiritual dimensions as more leisure time allows for such as the necessities of life are provided for many people in the world with less time and effort. And true to the teaching of the Master Christ: “The poor ye always have with you.” Many of you on the spiritual path chose before incarnation to create fear in your lives to such an extent that it keeps you focused on the Divine, and your inner world. And many of you now wish to rid yourselves of it! To those of you with this programming within, you suffer in a small way like the martyrs for the Divine, the Divine within you and for its liberation into higher vibrations. Pray and meditate and chant the name of the Divine and sincerely and committedly request that you attain the equanimity of mind of your ancestor Epicurus--even as your fear may be overwhelming to the physical body at times!
Look at people in your spiritual circles, and when you really know people, many live in fear of this or that, of when and where. On the spiritual path, the final detachment is detachment from the body. Remember the story when I requested that a disciple carry a message to Lahiri Mahasaya that his time in the body was drawing to a close? Lahiri's body shook as if in shock for a few moments? Even Enlightened Masters must balance the vibration of fear of leaving the body, although as in Lahiri’s case, it is fleeting and momentary. And Lahiri already knew when his time was to go also.
To all of you who have this question of fear and how to balance it, I have given some examples of how you may choose to Let It Be! Both polarities of people on the planet resonating with fear are attempting to eliminate it, but in dissimilar ways, isn’t it? Yet both polarities have a common bond as both are One in the greater reality. So Be It.
I am ever available in your inner world, please remember that. One who forever loves you. -Babaji

KRISHNA - NARAYANAYA - OM - OM NAMO NARAYANAYA OM
Focusing on the Eyes of the Heart
Take a deep breath in. Slowly inhale and slowly exhale. Concentrate on your heart chakra. Go deeper and deeper in it. When your mind is thinking; don’t give importance to it. Let the thoughts pass like the wind is passing through all of you. Whatever passes through the mind, let it go. Keep your concentration focused on the heart chakra. Feel the love, the joy, the happiness that is coming out of it; the warmness from deep within you. It is radiating all over your body. The whole body is reflecting this powerful Divine light and love. You are just enjoying this love. You are imbued with it. You feel such blissful happiness, that you never felt before. Remember not to fight whatever is passing through your mind, but just not give it any importance. Let yourself go deeper and deeper into it now. (From SSV Talks 2005)

Shri Gurubhyo Namaha Hari OM
"Be ever vigilant when you decide to judge the words and actions of an Enlightened Master. Perhaps you do not yet remember that you eternally are enlightened but your purity is hidden by maya. If that is so for you, please remember that you do not have the knowledge of a Master's intent and his range of omniscient perception. Therefore your judgement must be purified by the removal of the veil of illusion, maya, before you have the discernment to become fully aware of the truth of enlightened Masters' words and actions." (Excerpted from "Unity With The Divine," transmitted from Mahavatar Kriya Babaji to Utpalavati)
Swami Vishwananda:
"Obedience doesn’t mean slavery! Often people think that to be obedient is just to become the slave of the master. No! It’s the opposite, actually. It’s not you, who is the slave of the master; but it’s the master, who is the slave of you...
"It’s sad to see that nowadays when people come together it’s mostly to talk about other people, to gossip about what the other person has been doing. But what the person has done is not your business; it’s the person’s business. Mind your own business; but that’s what people do not do nowadays. They don’t look at themselves, but they do look at others, forgetting what Christ said: 'The fault that you see in other people, the judgment you put onto others is your own judgment towards yourself.' "
Very often people come and ask me questions and I tell them, and sometimes they are happy and sometimes they are not happy. You see people want to hear what they want to hear, but in every situation we can learn so much. We talk about humility. This is one way of building up humility, to be able to learn from others even from a situation which is wrong, but we have to stay in a state of non-judgment.
