The Art of Yagna

Mahavatar Babaji Quote of the Day
http://atmakriya.org/mahavatar-babaji
Narayana Hari OM: chanting this mantra fills the soul with bliss for those who attune to the vibration of Narayana, the Supreme Being. Chanting any Divine name which is felt deeply within the heart will connect you with the Divine and bring you joy. So chant the name you love and send it out into creation, and love doubled many times over will return to you. Do not keep love when you receive it, but rather share love outward into creation and it will avail you much on your spiritual path. -Babaji

Mahavatar Babaji Yagna, Überlingen Germany:

Mahavatar Babaji Yagna with Swami Vishwaanashuyananda and Swami Vishwapaarthananda (A Swami Vishwananda Bhakti Marga Event @ http://bhaktimarga.org/event/mahavatar-babaji-yagna-%C3%BCberlingen-germany).

This yagna is dedicated to the Kriya Master Mahavatar Babaji and its purpose is to bring people into the presence of Babaji, so that they may know him and receive his help on their spiritual path. The benefits are wide and varied - some benefits of participating in a sacred fire ceremony are a releasing of karma and a raising of awareness. Knowledge of Babaji was first brought to the west in the book Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda.

All participants will have the opportunity to take part in the ceremony and offer personal prayers during the ceremony for themselves or on behalf of family or friends. This Yagna ceremony will take about 3 hours. Because the yagna will be conducted outside, please bring some warm waterproof clothing and a happy heart! -Bhakti Marga Events with Swami Vishwaanashuyananda and Swami Vishwapaarthananda at Überlingen Germany (Friday 12th from 18:00 - 21:00 Hrs).

What is Yagna?
Yagna literally translated means to selflessly sacrifice for noble purposes. Whenever someone performs an act in the spirit of sacrifice, the person(s) is performing yagna. Yagna is also the name given to a fire ceremony that is conducted where one offers sacrifices into a holy fire – where the fire becomes an aspect of god. Many yagna fire ceremonies are carried out in the company of a group of people. The aim of the yagnas are varied but in essence they are performed to bestow benefit to some or all people present, the surrounding environment and the world. During this sacred ceremony we will be calling on the presence of the illumined master Mahavatar Kriya Babaji to assist us in the ceremony and to help us release karmic patterns so that we are freer to live more in harmony and in relationship with the Divine.

Yagna ceremonies are very powerful because of the fact that they are conducted using mantras to connect to and call in various aspects of the divine to help in a ceremony of purification. The element of fire is a very powerful element and has the capacity to burn away resistances and obstacles on our personal path towards the divine (whatever path we have chosen). By offering into the fire thoughts, emotions and chanting vedic mantras to the divine, this helps to purify the mind, the body and elevate the person to move forwards on their spiritual path.

The yagna also helps to purify and balance the 5 elements of earth, water, fire, air and ether in the surrounding environment in which the yagna is conducted. This helps mother nature also become rebalanced after such a ceremony. As a result geopathic stress can be released through such a ceremony which will bring benefit to those living or working nearby.

-Bhakti Marga Events with Swami Vishwaanashuyananda and Swami Vishwapaarthananda at Überlingen Germany.
