LETTER from MAHAVATAR BABAJI: Surrender Everything

I am sitting here in the Himalayas and I sit in each heart. You call my name, I hear you and I respond to all—some hear me, many do not. Why? “To everything there is a season”, the Bible tells us. This is true. How is it that some are healed and some are not? Some follow the “straight and narrow path” and many do not. How does one bleed for the Divine and most do not? My friends bring yourselves to the place in time and space where your consciousness is residing at present and to the events in the nature of things. Therein, you may expand your minds into greater knowledge and wisdom, and you can find peace with all things that the Divine sends and does not send. This is surrender, and it is difficult as long as the ego lives and is in control. You must master this ego which has been blown out of proportion to its original intent as the Creator so designed it!

We say this over and over, and until you experience it for yourself, you will keep asking the question to yourself and to those who assist you on your way, “Oh wayfaring pilgrims”. Why do I speak through this disciple, often, in the vernacular of the Bible and in the words of Christ, some ask me? I can tell you that the message and life of the Christ is as relevant today as it was in his day. It matters not which Master one uses to convey a message of Divine Truth! All were enlightened and still are with you today. Krishna of 5,000 years ago and Ram and Hanuman, from further back in time, are with you still. We all are bound in a spiral of the Creator’s design, ever existing in eternal Love from the Heart of God. And so it is. And so it ever will be!

It has been written in Earth chronicles: “What one resists, persists!” Well, this is truth. In order to resist anything, one must be thinking and holding it forefront in the mind, isn’t it? So, therefore, that thing of which you spend your time thinking about, placing energy into, creates it with the powerful mind with which the Divine endowed man. Let it be that you are ones who control this mind and keep in its forefront that which you wish to be, to enjoy, to create.

And then, there is the ever-present karma to consider, isn’t it. You also can rid yourselves of this karma in ways of surrendering it to your teacher. During Darshan, Swami Vishwananda does indeed transmute some of your karma each time you surrender yourself in front of him. Remember when you are at his feet, that to the degree you surrender, that is to the degree the Divine is allowed, by his own laws, to send you the grace that comes, inevitably and by design, with surrender. My friends, the secret to immortality lies in surrender. The whole Earth experience lies in surrendering yourself completely to Divine principles for living life

You have been given many examples of surrender. You may read about this complete surrender in the stories of the saints, martyrs, and the avatars that have come to “show you the way”. Among them are Ram, Krishna, Buddha, Christ Jesus, and contemporary ones such as Lahiri Mahasaya, Parmahansa Yogananda and Shirdi Sai Baba. There are many more, as you know. Were their lives free of troubles, of sickness, of death to the body? The Divine Design Plan calls for these things to happen and be experienced in the body. Why? Truly, at this point in time, the mind of man will not accept the truth of this Divine Design Plan. So, the Divine informs you again and again what you can understand, and still you refuse to do it completely—surrender everything to the Divine—everything. To everything there is a season:

Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

From The Holy Bible (King James)
-King Solomon

To everything there is a season, and
a time to every purpose under heaven:

A time to be born, and
a time to die;
a time to plant, and
a time to pluck up
that which is planted;

A time to kill, and
a time to heal;
a time to break down, and
a time to build up;

A time to weep, and
a time to laugh;
a time to mourn, and
a time to dance;

A time to cast away stones, and
a time to gather stones together;
a time to embrace, and
a time to refrain from embracing;

A time to get, and
a time to lose;
a time to keep, and
a time to cast away;

A time to rend, and
a time to sew;
a time to keep silence, and
a time to speak;

A time to love, and
a time to hate;
a time of war; and
a time of peace.

(This “Song of Solomon” is like grasping the inner nature of things intuitively.)

I Am Babaji, one who truly loves you, my friends. My heart would ache for your non-comprehension of the whole. The secret is surrender, plain and simple, and yet so difficult for you all to grasp. May you all, one day soon, gather the courage and relentless resolve to decide to jump off the cliff of that called surrender!

Dear Mahavatar,to jump off the cliff
is the confrontation with the fear of death,the fear of crucification.
Is it inevitable to get salvation?
Does the Rudra-Energy of Lord Shiva
reside in this process?We all want to break down the walls between YOU
and our ego and we all feel your
helping love to simplify our path
to unify with the DEVINE.Thank YOU
in silence.Ramayotee

Dear Ramayotee

Beloved friend, your truth lies within the range of your optimistic nature, isn't it? You toil for the Divine both in nature and in truth. You live the life of a renunciate in your heart. It is from within that one renounces the world. As Christ said: "Be in the world but not of it". There is not, in this day and time, a need for ridding oneself of all possessions, isn't it?

Continue your work for others as you are a blessing to many. So let it be. I am sending my love and assistance to all those whom you help. -Babaji
