Dearly Beloveds,

A time comes in the book of life when time allows one to reflect on one's spiritual progress. When one is present in the vicinity and presence of the SatGuru is a very good time to take a check on one's own life as he talks to you face-to-face or when he gives talks to all the people. The words of the SatGuru are meant for each individual to apply them to his own life through the thoughts, words and actions.
 
Many people, I observe, say after such a talk, "Wasn't Swami's talk beautiful and profound tonight?" Remember when you were in school and the teacher would read a poem and then the class would have a time to analyze the poem as to its meaning--that is what it meant to you? You see a poem needs to be interpreted as to its meaning to make any sense of it to the reader or listener. Just so are the beautiful words of a SatGuru. 

Make a commitment to yourselves in this year of 2014 to listen, enjoy and then apply the wonderful teachings of your SatGuru, Premavatar Sri Swami Vishwananda. If you do not apply his teachings to your own life, then you are only receiving a temporary "spiritual high," so to speak. This is good; I do not say that this is not good. However, if you wish to make true spiritual progress in 2014, one way is to apply the teachings of your SatGuru to your everyday life experience. This is good.

May the blessings of your Teacher flow toward you like the Great Mother Ganges flows throughout India. Lord Shiva brought this blessing to you from on High and caught the Ganges in his hair for you all. May you catch the teachings of your SatGuu in your hair and take them to heart in 2014 and bring them to living-life.
