Love's Pearls of Wisdom by Mahavatar Babaji

Like pearls strung in a line of a necklace, all of life is connected.
A ring is circular to fit the finger size of the one who wears it.
Life carries a blueprint inside each cell of the individual body.
This blueprint is constructed from all your lives lived.
Your present life circumstances are created from this blueprint.
If there are certain sections of your blueprint that need to
Be changed in order for you to be free and happy –  liberated,
Know that you have the power from within to change your life
Through changing your blueprint.
Change your thoughts and you will change your life.

Mahavatar Tells a Story - The Diamond Earrings

Once there was a Swami who created the tradition to give certain devotees and disciples a set of diamond earrings. Very few people knew the symbology of this, because the Swami never openly spoke about these manifestations.

One day a young boy who lived at this Swami’s ashram and who lived in Europe in the Twenty First Century, was walking in the woods near the Swami’s ashram when he saw a hawk flying ahead of him. For some reason he followed the hawk as it would fly ahead and then land on a tree branch and wait for the young boy to come to him. This game lasted for about half an hour as the boy wondered what type of bird would behave in such a manner and how it was that he was attracted to the bird through what seemed to be an ancient Love that came from deep within himself.

As the boy followed the hawk, he came to what would be the last place the bird would lead him. He observed that the hawk was pecking at a certain place under a tree throwing dirt to the side. As the hawk allowed the boy to come close, the boy noticed that the hawk had golden wing tips and eyes of iridescent blue-green from which golden sparks of light radiated outward. Then the boy knew that this bird was a type of spiritual bird like the renowned Paramahansa, who is said not actually to be a bird but a state of Purity Consciousness.

The boy stood quietly and watched the bird digging a hole in the ground. Eventually, the bird lifted a small silver box from the ground. The beautiful hawk lifted the silver box in its mouth and brought it and laid it at the feet of the young boy while looking into the boy’s eyes. The boy saw sparks of golden light come from the eyes of the hawk and go into his body at his seven chakras as they awakened into the kundaliini light of spiritual wisdom. And the sparks became words which told the boy to open the silver box as it was a gift for him.

Inside the red velvet lined box the boy, Pankananda, found two diamond earrings like his Swami, his Satguru, gave to certain people that he knew. Pankananda was guided by the words of the hawk to place the earrings into his ears. As soon as he had the second earring into his ear, both the silver box and the hawk disappeared before his eyes. Then the boy wondered if he wore the earrings in the future if people would think his Satguru had given the earrings to him and what would he answer if someone asked? He decided that he would tell the truth of how the earrings came to him if anyone asked and let them think whatever they would think. For on the spiritual path, as he well knew, many unique experiences happen to people who are fully surrendered to the Satguru.

The boy slowly walked back to the ashram in order to shower and change clothes for evening prayers. Rarely did the Satguru attend prayers, for he often traveled and when he was in residence, his practice was to allow the devotees and disciples who lived and visited the ashram do prayers led by his chosen leaders as He had taught them. When Pankananda walked toward the Temple for prayers, to his surprise and delight, the Satguru stood outside the door. And Pankananda’s heart was happy as he knew this indicated that the Satguru would attend prayers and bhajans that were sung afterwards. As Pankananda came near the Satguru, he saw sparks coming from the Satguru’s eyes precisely like the ones that had come from the eyes of the beautiful hawk. And they went into his chakras like before and the Divine Shakti energy rushed up his spine as had happened with the hawk. The radiant smile of the Guru, who wore a robe of iridescent blue-green like the eyes of the hawk, smiled his luminous smile and handed Pankananda the silver box that had disappeared along with the hawk.

The Satguru simply said, “Keep the earrings in your ears always. Here is the box in which the earrings came to you. I have filled the box with manifested vibhuti; keep the silver box with vibhuti on your altar always.” Pankananda knelt at the Satguru’s feet in humble gratitude and unconditional, totally surrendered Divine Love.

Changing Criminality in Society

Swami was asked these questions in Maruitius
Swami, in the media you can see there is more and more criminality in the society. Why?

What is our duty toward our country? What do we want to show to the world? There was the unity of all the religions in this country; we have to carry on with it. Criminality is because of all the drugs. It’s all about a way of education. You have to explain to the child why something is not good. The government does a good job by giving education to everybody and that will change certain things. It is a choice to be good or not good, to be happy or unhappy. Somebody came to me and told me: I like to take drugs; it makes me happy. I asked him: Does it makes you always happy?  He said, “No only when I take the drugs, then the depression comes back? I asked him, “So, the depression did not disappear afterwards?” He said, “No, it’s still there.” They don’t realize that the depression doesn’t disappear because they are bound by habit. Everything which is bound by habit is difficult to let go. Once you realize that you are bind by a habit, you can get out of it. When one changes, [the mind and thoughts] then it changes also your surroundings.

What would you like to say to the youngsters?

First, be yourself. Then respect the elders; it has to be on both ways. The elders have also to respect the youngsters. In the past, the parents were examples in showing respect. Then find out what you really want. Most of the time youngsters do what the parents want. You have to stand on your own feet.

No Greater Thing

Swami Vishwananda told the story of the Saint, who asked his devotees to give him seven flowers as they were preparing for his visit. The devotees wondered which seven flowers to give the saint. The Saint told them: “Yes, I use seven flowers to pray and I want each one of you to give these seven flowers to me. The seven flowers are: truthfulness, love, service to people, prayers, devotion, loyalty and control of the senses. These are the seven flowers." Swami then said, "If somebody gives these to God, gives them to one's Self, God will be pleased with that. There is no greater gift.

Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit according to Orthodox Tradition:
Love of God to help overcome sinfulness.
Spirit of strength to live by the virtues.
Spirit of counsel to give us the skill of discernment.
Spirit of understanding to realize how blessings have been revealed to us to gain virtues.
Spirit of knowledge to know the deeper motivation of each command and virtue.
Spirit of comprehension to know the meaning of things by identification with them.
Spirit of wisdom which is the simple contemplation of truth of all things.

Mahavatar Babaji Tells a Story

Once there was a yogi who walked through the villages of the high, sacred Himalayas with long black hair neatly groomed and a face that radiated the inner glow of golden light. So bright was this light that he stood out from other humans as his face looked as if he wore a golden mask. This yogi would sit under a tree on a simple blanket wearing a white Swami garment reaching his ankles and draped and tied at his left shoulder with the arms bare. He was tall, his face beautiful, and his bearing regal.

This Swami had no family and it was said truly that He manifested his body and that he was not born of woman. Wherever he went, people gathered around him just to be near him. He was offered food made with great care which he distributed to whoever came to be near him. No one ever saw him eat or drink anything, Himself.

One day in a certain poor village this Swami was sitting under a tree in the center of the village with a crowd of villagers gathered around him. He rarely spoke, for his was a mission of transmitting love and peace to anyone who looked upon his golden face. This day, suddenly a young boy was quickly laid at His feet by a father and weeping mother. The weeping woman told the Swami that her son had just that moment been bitten by a poisoness Golden King Cobra snake. The man looked at the young boy and the people sitting around the Golden Swami saw that not poison, but the amrita of the Gods, golden like honey, poured out of the boy’s leg without any touch by the Swami.

To everyone’s surprise the Swami spoke: “Serpent, come forth.”
The people all simultaneously stepped back some distance. A Golden King Cobra appeared before the Golden Swami, who said: “Serpent, you know that these people know that your bite causes death within 15 minutes. But you gave not poison but the amrita of the Gods. ‘Therefore, it is not for your sake that you have bitten this boy, but for the sake of the Divine so that these people may know that greater things than I have done this day, they will do.’ And the Swami gave a discourse on the Divine who sits in the heart of everyone, everywhere. He instructed the people to build a temple to Maha Vishnu and Maha Lakshmi and to do pujas, abhishekam and yagnas to purify themselves and the village. There was such Love radiating from this Swami that the people’s Hearts opened to Love and many made a true connection to the Divine in that moment.

The Golden Swami manifested murtis of Vishnu and Lakshmi dressed resplendently in royal purple and gold and with jewels fit for a king to wear. The murtis, the Swami instructed the people were for the temple the people would build at His request.

The Golden Swami told the people that they were blessed that day indeed as the young boy was born to help them find God, the Divine. The boy‘s mission was to suffer the King Cobra’s bite as a sacrifice for removing the karma of the people of that certain village. God had intervened and saved the 14-year-old boy’s life; for he was to become the teacher at the temple they would build to venerate the Divine.

The Golden Swami initiated the boy as a Swami. And as He initiated the boy He showed the people the way to do the abhishekam, puja and yagna as he demonstrated on the young boy who was to be the teacher in the temple. He initiated the boy with the name, Swami Vishnunamiananda.

And many say that the Golden Swami was Vishnu, Himself, that appeared for a short time and walked the high Himalayas to help the people awaken to the Divine within themselves. No one ever saw this Golden Swami after He left this village. But, on occasion, the Golden King Cobra could be seen in front of the Vishnu and Lakshmi murtis installed in the temple in this village, with hood spread venerating the Divine couple.

The people knew that the Golden King Cobra was a blessing from Vishnu, Himself. And these simple and pure people loved and worshiped Vishnu through the murtis, whom most say Vishnu, Himself, manifested to help connect the people to the Divinity within their own hearts.

Love's Pearls of Wisdom -- The Purity of the Paramahansa

The Paramahansa is a metaphysical bird which represents a certain state of consciousness. This is the consciousness of purity. The color white, down through the centuries has become a symbol of purity in spiritual traditions. Be inspired when you read or hear a story of someone who has had an experience with seeing and perceiving the Paramahansa. One day all will reach this consciousness of Luminous White Light of purity, with or without seeing the Paramahansa, Itself.

A Disciple or a Devotee – That is the Question

Krishna said in the Gita “I clothed Myself in this human form and then the ignorant think I am just human, because they just see the outside.” Who will understand, who can understand a Satguru? No one! So, when the disciple is ready, the Satguru manifests Himself and He comes. The Satguru comes to the disciple. And the Satguru comes not to take anything, because the Guru already has realized the Oneness with the Divine. So what does the Satguru need in this world? Nothing! He comes to give, always to give, even if it seems that He takes, actually: what you are taking is just that what He is giving.

The Satguru gives in three forms. First, he gives as Sankalpa, which is through thought. Second, he gives as Drishti, which is through vision, sight. Third, he gives through Sparsha, which is touch. Through these three forms the Guru gives.
Why did I say disciple and I didn’t say devotee? Because, after you have passed through all this purification you become a bhakta, you become a true disciple. You don’t stay only as a devotee, but you become a disciple. A disciple is the one who has received the grace of the Master. And the grace of the Master is the same as the Grace of God Within. And this grace is like a teacher.

Let’s say you grafted a small plant with another. You take two roses, two different kinds of roses, and you graft them together. But, when you water, you water only the main one. So the teacher is the main plant. Whatever passes through the teacher is grafted to the disciple, who will receive everything. That is why I have said you become the pot of Amrit, also. You don’t just stay as you are, but you attain the fulfillment of the goal of life. This is how the Grace of the Divine manifests Itself into
the Guru.

The Guru gives Himself fully to his disciple. He gives Himself fully to the devotee. What the devotee has to do is to be like an empty receptacle and receive everything

Living in Present Time - Swami and Babaji

Mahavatar Babaji: (Taken from the book, "Unity With The DIvine")
"Lo, from the dawn of time man has used his imagination as a pathway to freedom. The so-called imagination is within the mind and heart system of man given life from his first breath originating from the Source (The Divine). Then let us use this imagination or will of man to further our knowledge, experience and love of the Divine Light Principle from whence we first came in our beginning—without beginning and without end…

"In present time we go often from day to day in our lives as if on remote control. We begin our days and end our days in exactly the same ways. We act as if we are sleep-walking and our lives often become routine as we choose to live by rote. Meditation is a way for mankind to awaken the central core of our being and, thereby, his life may become what it was meant to be in the beginning of beginnings.

"Man may live with the capacity to be happy, to be free, and to be alive in the present moment without continually looking backward or forward in the present moment. In that way of being stands your life-force ability to weep in overwhelming sadness or feel and express great joy, both with the purest equanimity. Control of the mind is required to do this." (Taken from Unity With The Divine) (Available at Amazon at:
http://www.kriyaompress.com/ )
Sri Swami Vishwananda:
"We are living in a dreaming state. When we get awakened, we will see the reality. But this reality is not to be understood with the mind. That’s what human beings are here for: To attain this reality of who you are. We will attain this reality only through unconditional love, the same love that He loves us. Do you think His love is bound by any limitation or what we understand of Him? The love of God is not bound by anything, only by the love of His devotee".

Swami Sings "Narayana Hari OM"

Narayana

Narayana, Hari, OM;
Lakshmi, Narayana, Hari OM
Guru Vishwananda, Vishwananda, Guru OM.
Ananda, Ananda, Ananda, OM.

Bliss, pearls, diamonds, gold, spacecraft,
Those thoughts of random do stop somewhen,
And thereby silence turns into gold.
The dark of night calls one to his eternal home.
The light of day brings forth
Our crust of bread and pot of jam.

Rainbows light the sky after a rainstorm; why?
The Divine placed the rainbow in the sky
When He somberly and faithfully promised:
“I will Not tear asunder the Earth again
By inundating it with water."
Fire and brimstone, instead,
He has sent into many lives,
Through many minds and many hearts,
As the Kali Age merges, even now in your time,
Into the Golden Age of Forevermore all-time.

Babies cry when they are hungry,
Man creates havoc in another way.
When he is spiritually hungry,
Man conveys his message to God,
In a juvenile way. . .
By destroying the home that
God so lovingly and freely has given,
Plus many, many more things,
In his sandbox he calls time,
He has done, brother to brother to brother.

On land and sea man has fought the battle
Of life and death and life forevermore.
Do not wait until the ravishes of old age
To lay your burden down at the feet of Narayana.
Narayana is available to each and everyone in prayer,
Meditation, verse, chant and song,
And in your heart of hearts.

So sing your songs and chant your divine names
And ride the crest of time to live forevermore
In the dimensions beyond space and time
With The Divine and Supreme Narayana. . .
Chanting every step along your way. . .
“Narayana, Hari OM. . .Lakshmi, Narayana, Hari OM .”

Swami's Fourth Sermon Easter 2012 - The "Word" - Listen

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God. John  1:1

Book Available
During the Easter 2012 celebrations, Sri Swami Vishwananda gave four very special sermons, each more touching than the other, penetrating the depths of our being.
In the current podcast episode we would like to share the final sermon Sri Swami Vishwanananda gave on Easter Sunday, in which he talks about the "Word” that is mentioned in the Gospel, the Light that is present in all men.
Christ came to this world to remind men of their own divinity, their own Divine Light Light that shines in them. Whoever believes in Him, the Light, the “Word”, the Divine Name, will have eternal Life.

There is a special booklet that was published this Easter 2012 named “RESURRECT WITH CHRIST which consists of wonderful and extraordinary sermons and talks that Sri Swami Vishwananda gave over the past years with regards to the Christian faith in general and especially Easter. Sri Swami Vishwananda has an unparalleled deep connection with Christ and His essence. His words and even more so his beingness are able to reconnect us – who mostly have grown up in the western part of the world – with our Christian spiritual heritage.

Love's Pearls of Wisdom - Unity on Earth

By Mahavatar Babaji

Unity with the Divine is the calling within every heart of humanity.
Reasoning has to be set aside and one must learn the language
of the heart to reach the remembered enlightenment of former
states of consciousness, which you all have stored in your atmic soul.
It is written, so let it be!

-Mahavatar Babaji

_________

Unity  Of  Love  On  Earth

(A Prayer for Earth}

Mahavatar Babaji,
Dearly Beloved ParamGuru
Let all mankind be an Instrument of your Love,
Your Peace, Your Humility, even as
You are the Supreme Being of Godhead !
Let us work ceaselessly for the
Human evolution into the Divine Within,
Which is Your mission on Earth.

You, along with Divine Mother,
Have given and blessed our Satguru,
 Sri Swami Vishwananda also with
The Mission which is Yours, as
His Mission to humanity--
Open all hearts to Divine Love.
In this way You have blessed humanity,
 supremely !

Let time be eliminated from the minds of man,
And let it be known as the illusion it is.
Let fear recede into the dust bin of history
For the Whole Humanity,
As You, Dear Mahavatar, often say.

As the Peacock feather is one of the symbols
Of Lord Krishna’s time on Earth
And the cross is a symbol of the Christ
Let Your Atma Kriya Yoga image stand
As one representation of Your time on Earth
In the Twenty First Century.
Let peace once again reign on Earth and
Let Krishna-Christ Consciousness
Rise from the Divine Heart Within,

To permeate the very air we breathe,
And let Love reign Supreme
On Earth Forevermore.

Miraculous Story of Mahavatar and Swami Working Together in India

Swamini Vishwalakshmianandama: We placed a mandala on Virtual-Babaji-Vishwananda blog on May 11, five days ago.  The mandala artist is Thomas from the Czech Republic now living in America. Of the four mandalas Thomas’ mother sent me, I felt inspired to share this mandala (see below and http://www.virtual-babaji-vishwananda.blogspot.com/2012/05/chanting-divine-name-of-lakshmi.html ) with readers as I felt the presence of Maha Lakshmi when I saw the elephants and the chakras within the human spine represented in the mandala. This was an element in a larger picture that Mahavatar Babaji and Swami Vishwananda would play out with three people in Joshimath, India a few days later.

Thomas and his companion have been traveling throughout India for some weeks now. They were in Badrinath a week ago, a highly charged spiritual place with a great and ancient Vishnu Temple. One of the Holy Rivers of India, the Alakananda River, runs through Badrinath. It has been said that Mahavatar Babaji has an “etheric” ashram near Badrinath and one can read in Hindu literature that some blessed people through time have encountered Mahavatar Babaji at Badrinath.

On their travels through India, Thomas and his companion stayed two days at the town of Joshimath like many people on pilgrimages to Badrinath.
Joshimath is one of the four cardinal mathas established by Adi Shankara; the others are Shringen, Puri and Dwarka. Their leaders are titled, Shankaracharya, according to the tradition initiated by Adi Shankara. Adi Shankara established the Jyotrimath Temple in Joshimath.
After their stay in Badrinath, Thomas and his companion followed an inner urge to stay again at Joshimath as they traveled back down the high Himalayan Mountain toward Rishikesh. Thomas had communicated to his mother in America that he would take Atma Kriya Yoga initiation from Swami Vishwananda’s teachers either at his ashram in Springen, Germany or from one of Swami’s Atma Kriya Yoga teachers in the Czech Republic, his homeland, even though he is presently living in the USA. However, Swami Vishwananda and Mahavatar Babaji had other plans for Thomas and a certain Atma Kriya Yoga teacher traveling in India.

When Thomas reached Joshimath for the second time, he and his companion waited for hours for the owner of the hotel where they wished to stay to return so that they could register for a room. After hours of waiting, they decided to locate another hotel. When Thomas and his companion checked into this randomly chosen hotel, so they thought, they were told that a girl from the Czech Republic had checked in earlier. Later this girl came through the lobby and Thomas, his companion and this girl, Bhagesri, introduced themselves having the common ground that both Thomas and she are citizens of the Czech Republic. Thomas discovered that Bhagesri is a disciple of Swami Vishwananda and that she is an initiated Atma Kriya Yoga teacher and that her Guru is Swami Vishwananda.

After hearing that Thomas wished to take the Atma Kriya Yoga course offered by Swami Vishwananda when he returned from India, she told him that she is
one of the three teachers of Atma Kriya Yoga in the Czech Republic that Swami Vishwananda has initiated. The other two teachers are Jagadishen and Yadhava. She also told him that earlier this morning of their meeting that she was reading the Virtual-Babaji-Vishwananda Blog and she had seen Tom's elephant mandala and that she had thought: "I want to see the painter of this mandala."

Before all this happened, Mahavatar had told Bhagesri that she would be meeting with someone whom she would help by giving Atma Kriya Yoga teaching and initiation and He, Mahavatar Babaji, would be giving this person(s) Atma Kriya Yoga through her!

Thomas’s mother, Eva, writes of this story: What a blessing again! It’s a Masterpiece of Mahavatar Babaji. I was humbly asking Mahavatar for protection and for sending Tom and his companion someone who would help them with their spiritual sadhana. I felt that something would happen, but never did I think that Mahavatar would answer in this BIG WAY !!! I am very, very humbled !
