Path of Devotion exemplifying Love, Patience and Unity
Swami Vishwananda Speaks of Desires and venerates Mahavatar Babaji:
Jai Gurudev: Today, I am directing you to do a prayer and lay all your desires on your altar to whatever deity you choose. Let your only desire be focused on God, because the only desire of mankind, the only desire of the Spirit is God. All other desires have limits. When you desire something you want to possess it. The moment that you get the thing that you desire, all your feelings are gone and you start disliking the thing you desired because it is not the Ultimate. The only desire that will ultimately fulfill you is God, because he is unlimited in everything.
It is important that you work or do everything with non-attachment by surrendering everything to the Divine. In the morning praise the Lord and say. “I’m an instrument in your hands. Guide me, be with me!” At the end of the day, before you sleep, surrender everything, every action, even if it was not a good action. Analyze your actions and surrender them to the Divine. Be completely detached from whatever you do, and focus your mind on the Lord.
There was a great poet, Adi Shankaracharya who said, “Bhaja Govindam, Govindam Bhajam Muramate.” Meaning, If only mankind would realize how foolish humanity is…” Man could realize that everything comes from the Source which is God, then why not take the Source itself? Why just want something that will be finished after some time [anything in the material world].
Even Lahiri Mahasaya, who was a very great yogi, in one of his previous lives [before he met Babaji in the physical in the Himalayas] when he used to live with Mahavatar Babaji, he had the desire to have a golden palace, and his desire for this golden palace made him incarnate again on Earth. Because of the grace of Mahavatar Babaji, his love, and his compassion for everyone, Babaji guided him and fulfilled his wish during his life.
Swami Vishwananda’s loving veneration of Babaji:
When you fall at the feet of Babaji, think of Babaji and pray to him. “If you could create this big palace, if you are the source of everything, why will I need just a palace? Isn’t it better than I take you completely? You are the ultimate. You are the goal of all life. Let me have you!” In the same way, do not waste your time in wanting things that you know have their limit. Desire the ultimate, and you shall have it! Remember always the Divine Love, the Divine help, the Divinity ultimately within yourself. You are an instrument of this Love, and instrument of this joy and bliss and happiness. You have to reflect it, and for you to want to reflect it, you have to really want that reflection.

Utpalavati’s Story of Babaji’s Request to Write Unity With The Divine:
“I awoke in bliss one morning in August of 2008. Feeling compelled to meditate, I soon beheld Jagadguru Mahavatar Babaji in His Immortal Form but seemingly physical. He moved toward me as if gliding along gracefully on a pathway of Light. He came through energetic, golden doorways one after another until he stood directly in front of me just inches from my eyes. [The doorways Babaji came through seemed to be composed of golden light and were shaped like one sees in large Cathedrals where there are a series of arched “doorways” leading to the altar]. As I looked into his beautiful, Divine face and the unfathomable eyes of Mahavatar Babaji, I instantly became aware of myself in two dimensions simultaneously. While fully conscious of myself sitting in meditation, I became aware immediately of standing and pranaming in front of Babaji in the Himalayas in India.
“Babaji sat on a low rock wall outside a familiar ashram built into the mountain side. To his right, rock steps led down the hillside to the fast-flowing, sacred Ganges River rushing alone the valley floor on its way to eventually merge with the greater ocean. The crisp mountain air, stirred by a slight breeze, gently blew Babaji’s copper high-lighted hair as his beautiful, Celestial face smiled in greeting
“Babaji is very familiar to me as I remembered in 1985 of this lifetime that I have known him for “time out of mind.” I am ecstatically happy to be in his Divine presence this crisp fall morning. Mahavatar Babaji gracefully removes a sheet of parchment paper from an ivory cloth pouch casually slung across His chest. Babaji says: “I have written a series of Epistles. I request that you sit in meditation beginning at 4:00 A.M. tomorrow and begin recording as I deliver them to you. I will convey the Epistles to you over a short period of time in a divine heart-to-heart and mind-to-mind Imprinting Technique with which you are very familiar. . [For Babaji’s Imprinting Technique delivery method type in “Imprinting Technique” in search box at top right]. Will you publish a ‘little book’ containing the Epistles? I need only a ‘little book’ to convey the steps to enlightenment into the consciousness of today’s people around the world.”
I was astonished that Babaji seemed to be paraphrasing John, the disciple of Christ Jesus, who was told not to write the ‘little book’ he was given as recorded in the Christian Bible in the book of Revelation. [Note: Babaji informed the venerated Indian yogi-saint, Lahiri Mahasaya in the latter ninetieth century: When one realizes his unity with mankind, all minds become transmitting stations through which he can work at will.”]
“Mahavatar informed me at the beginning of His dictation: “The guru-disciple relationship, by its very nature, exemplifies the mantra of duty for those who have attained a certain level of spiritual awareness. Sharing with humility one’s spiritual experiences serves as inspiration and fortification for those who have gleaned spiritual advancement from their own spiritual efforts. In that way the guru-disciple relationship matures down through the millennium as spiritual aspirants walk the eternal way to enlightenment and Unity With The Divine.”
Babaji Says Today:
