Loving Like Meerabai

Premavatar Swami Vishwananda: The Love that the devotee has for the Satguru is the Love that the devotee has for the Divine. This Love is one single-minded Love. This Love is a Love where the devotee doesn’t expect anything, apart from the Lord Himself. And, in this Love, nothing can move the bhakta, no matter what comes! When Meerabai was singing for Krishna, people would say “She’s crazy,” but this didn’t change her faith, this didn’t change her Love. She was so concentrated. Her mind was so focused and one-pointed toward the Lord that nothing could move her. It is said that devotion has another name: one single-pointed mind. When your mind is completely focused on God, you will have Him.

poet somewhat like Meerabai?

She – the one who sang and composed

unique, mystical poetry

out of her Love for Her Divine Lord Krishna, 

Meerabai sang:

“Drink the nectar of the Divine Name!

Leave the bad company,

always sit among righteous company.

Hearken to the mention of God.

Concupiscence (powerful feelings of physical desire)

anger, pride, greed, attachment --

wash these out of your consciousness.

Meera's Lord is the Mountain-Holder

the suave lover.

Soak yourself in the dye of His color.”

of our Lord and Master,
Premavatar Sri Swami Vishwananda:
“Our own Sri Swami Vishwananda
Appeared in our day and our time
           With . . .
            Well . . .
There is just something about that
Beautiful, Beloved-ed Face
That words alone cannot describe
Or even attempt to explain!
Perhaps the closest we can convey
Is that our Master is an embodiment
Of the Divine Mother’s Heart,
That which is known as Eternal Divine Love!”

Meerabai expressed love for her
Krishna in times of yore.
In present time, it feels like Krishna
is here in the form of
Premavatar Swami Vishwananda.

The red rose of true love lies like a beautiful
thunderstorm of powerful, luminous,
magnificent Divine Love in all the hearts which
resonate with Swami Vishwananda's Divine Mission to
 “Open the hearts of humanity to Divine Love.”
Our Lord and Master breathes, lives,
walks, talks and Loves among us.
Hearken to His Teachings for your soul’s sake.
