My 4-year-old grandson, Reid, stayed with me last night on a sleep-over. He picked up a picture of Babaji  from the side table by my bed and asked, "Who is this girl?" I replied that the picture was of a man. He asked: "What is his name?" And I told him, "Mahavatar Babaji." Then he picked up a picture of Gurudev and asked, "Who is this?" I told him: "The person in the second picture is Swami Vishwananda and he is a friend." Then I told him that if he ever is sad or in trouble he could talk to Babaji or Swami Vishwananda in his thoughts and they would help him.

Letter from Babaji:

From the time children are born they are ripe for the beckoning as to training them in the ways of the Lord. Every opportunity should be taken to educate them in spiritual traditions. This does not mean in the way of 'preaching' at them. Rather, lovingly answer their questions in a simple way that they can understand, as in the example given above.

Once there was a young boy in my training from the time he was born. Step by step I helped him retain memories of his Divine nature. He was an Avatar but it is God's plan to awaken the memories in steps to show mankind that the Vedic and Hindu Tradition works for mankind when he is committed to remembering his Divine Nature.

When this boy grew older and was about 14-years-old, he knew already his mission in this lifetime and in this world. In the greater truth, he always knows everything. He now travels the world awakening people to their Divine Nature in his Darshans, Satsangs and singing the name of the Lord. He teaches people that japa, chanting the name of the Divine, continuously, can lead to liberation.

Likewise all of you can train young people to keep their memories of the Divine in a natural way. Then, it is up to the young person to find the Divine within the heart or to fall into the maya and conditioning of the world. But remember to do this in a natural rather than a 'preaching' or forcing way. Of course, it depends on the development of the soul when it takes incarnation as to how advanced the memories are and which ones the Divine will allow the soul to retain.

Dearly Beloveds,
Banana trees are said to provide the good kind of food for man. This is so when they have been allowed to flourish naturally as nature and God intended without pesticides. Often these days and time we find what is termed “empty nutrition” being consumed throughout the day. This kind of Being results in obesity and ill health for many in this world. Some of man have taken the higher road to better nutrition through consuming whole, organic foods, without pesticides, and which provide proper nutrition that feeds the cells of the physical form.

Throughout evolution, at some point, man began to radiate the lower vibration, through his thoughts of catering to the sense desire of taste rather than eating for energy and nourishing the physical cells. Now in this time man suffers the consequences in his body temple through ill health. Now is the time to take stock of what you choose for your daily nutrition and correct that which needs correcting in your daily lives as it pertains to proper nutrition and bodily physical health. This provides the optimum vibration and opportunity for you then to seek the Divine within.

Jai Guru Dev:

Trials and tribulations come in every life; this you know. Why? Spiritual traditions teach us that God is a mystery and therefore we cannot understand Him. Yet, there are many ways in which we behave that can teach us to trust what our heart tells us to do in our lives. For instance, it is said that “happiness does not depend upon circumstances in one’s life but rather with the inner self." I will respond to the question as follows.

Dear Maha Avatar, dear Babaji,
I wanted to ask whether you could give us spiritual aspirants some advice on how to deal with the stress of modern life? I find that I am easily disturbed in my Sadhana through thoughts about the time, about my work, what I have to do today, whether I like what I need to do or not... this spiral of thoughts and feelings makes me very, very nervous and agitated and thus, effects my relationship with Him!...

(Babaji Continues): We quote Swami Vishwananda, your Guru. Ask yourself the following questions and then follow your Guru’s teaching by placing his teachings into your life in all circumstances, all situations.

Can we help ourselves in painful circumstances in life by changing ourselves?
Sri Swami Vishwananda:” Love can be joy; it's not hurting always only. There is a mystical joy, a mystical form of love that you can discover even in pain. This pain is not a pain of saying, “Oh, I’m having pain.” For example: ‘Yesterday I went to this place, I hit myself and now I have pain.’ It’s not a physical pain and it’s not an emotional pain that you create with your mind saying: “Yes, I want to be painful today”. Pain of love is so intense. The Saints know about it. Their hearts pain to be with the Divine. They cry for it. Read the life of St. Francis. Do you know how much he was crying always? But it does not have to be intensive always like that. Right now we are talking about the pain of love, but St. Francis also had great joy. This sensitivity can manifest itself also as being painful. It's not really painful, but it’s a longing for the Beloved One.”

Am I surrendered to whatever the Divine sends and does not send?
Sri Swami Vishwananda: “During darshan, I was holding a little young child; it was so sweet to look at how the child was. She came to me, she had the candy, and the moment she turned to the mother and looked at the mother, she didn’t even want the candy. She wanted to go to the mother. It brings me great joy to see this surrender, you know.

“Then I said to the people: Imagine if the whole world would be like that, if they saw the Reality. If they knew about God and they knew the illusion, they would let go of the illusion and run towards God-Realization. It was really great. The child didn’t bother about the sweet, or the chocolate, nothing! No toys even mattered to the child, because the mother was the most important. That’s why whenever we do things, it comes to a point where we lose this satisfaction, because whatever we do on the outside, which is just material-centered, has a limit and it is finished after some time.”

Ask yourself: “Do I want to be free?”
Sri Swami Vishwananda: "We could be free, but our mind doesn't let us be free. We can see the Lord everywhere, but our pride always stops us. We can Love Him, but our expectation is always there, too. When one lets go of these three things, one will be really, fully into Him.”

Could it be that your Guru is teaching you through life, through your present experience, through challenges?
Sri Swami Vishwananda: “I won’t teach you the way a normal teacher will teach you. I teach you through life, through experience, through challenges. That’s how you will build up your spiritual strength. If you are not strong enough, you will not be able to make it, because to get Self-Realization, to get God-Realization, you can’t be weak. You have to be very, very strong to get it. That is how life is.”

Are you humble in your present circumstances? God is pleased with humility!
Sri Swami Vishwananda: “how can we learn humility? The best is to pray for help to look inside to see what God wants us to learn in any situation and pray for God to help us transcend it. It’s true sometimes those things come on the way that we don’t understand. Even if you try to understand, you find it very difficult. You see, it’s simple, everybody wants their own idea to be heard first, and they don’t want to hear anybody else. If you already have made up your mind about something, thousands of people can tell you to do something differently and you will have some difficulties of doing it. In your mind you already have planned it; you have already expected!

“Very often people come and ask me questions and I tell them, and sometimes they are happy and sometimes they are not happy. You see people want to hear what they want to hear, but in every situation we can learn so much. We talk about humility. One way of building up humility is to be able to learn from others from a situation which is wrong, but we have to stay in a state of non-judgment.”

The result of all this inner work, and above all any circumstances, any situations in life will be alleviated by enacting the following teaching from your Guru!
Sri Swami Vishwananda: “Open up your heart and Cry to God, asking: "God reveal yourself. Help me that I can call myself the son of God, the child of God! Finally you can say the same as Christ did: "Oh, yes, I am One with God."

"We do not need to ask questions about this footprint excepting in the heart. The outer questions and answers accumulate around this footprint and this is good. The main teaching for you comes by reading and hearing the outer given knowledge about this footprint and then going within your own heart to perceive if you resonate with this or not. Faith in anything material comes from within your own heart. Remember this when you question."

Dearest Beloved Eternal Friends,
Know that I am ever with you all. Around this world, many now are connecting with the vibration Swami Vishwananda and I have created together with all those who are participating internally in OM Meditation. You see the OM sound of creation is the purest sound on Earth and in the entire creation. So Be It! Now we come together in groups all over this planet due to the work Swami Vishwananda is inserting into the vibrational grid system around this planet. This grid, or web of golden light, may be seen with the physical eye through connecting with it firstly in the heart. Secondly, the third eye gives the cue, through the third eye, the anja chakra. Then what seems like magic happens as you perceive a visual picture of this energetic web of light. Some of you present here today know about the Christ Consciousness web of light in this way (as well as those of you who will be reading this message).

I send my love and regard to each of you who anchor Swami Vishwananda, and my vibration connected with your own vibration, into this grid system. In essence, this vibration we create when sounding OM is realized as the Christ Consciousness Vibration. I thank you all for your work in the OM Meditations as your participation increases the progressive unity of mankind at this critical time on this planet. You all know about this. I wish to insert into your record today: Please inform everyone who participates in Atma Kriya to remember always that OM Meditation is an integral part of the whole vibration of Atma Kriya. So Be It!

LETTER from MAHAVATAR BABAJI

Dear Friends,
It is time to let bygones be bygones. What does this mean exactly? Bygones are things that have happened in the past time. It is time in cosmic timing to leave the ideas that are instilled within the mind from childhood; that is those that no longer serve you and the world at this time of chaos in much of the world. There is confusion in the minds of man in present time. The signs of the times are harsh and often painful as I view the people in their meditations and their prayers.

Keep positive, as happiness or sorrow are choices in any life situation as you are well aware. The ringing of the church bells, the call of the temple conch, the exit of the older people into other dimensions, and the cry of a new born babe are ever with you. Life and death, the search for Divinity and the blissful attainment of Him goes on and on. Be happy, be positive, my friends, as time marches on in your time. Christ said:” In my Father’s house are many mansions. I go to prepare a place for you…” It is so! As you search for the Divine, please remember that He is forever seated in your consciousness, in your heart. Be at peace.

When you have the chance, please go to a yagna and help cleanse the vibrations of your communities, yourselves and your world. Fire has purification properties that purify and enhance the very air you breathe and live within daily.
