Letter from Mahavatar Babaji - I Beseech You...

It is in the nature of man once to be born and to die in the body. The soul or atman lives forever. This you all know from scriptures written from time out of mind in Earth time. The Enlightened Masters who come to you say this over and over again within their own lifetimes and then later as man quotes them over and over. Now, it is time to implement these teachings of liberating the soul into your daily life. These teachings are not meant to be read, heard or seen and for man to feel a spiritual resonance, a physical joy, and then to store the knowledge gained somewhere on a shelf of “books I have read,” or in the mind.” At this critical and changing time in man’s evolution, you must take these teachings to heart if you wish to survive the coming planetary upheavals that have begun already in your time.

Willingness to hoard food or to plan for overwhelming disasters of nature and economic chaos, which are occurring even today, are fruitless in the end. And, paradoxically, they may be good as well when one is connected with the Divine in Love. What will stored food do for you in a Tsunami, an earthquake, an object from space coming into Earth’s atmosphere and hitting the ground somewhere? You may be thinking, “Not much, if you are in the path of any of these things.” It would be wise to prepare, now, for great future changes, which must come, physically, spiritually and mentally, so that man may live once again in love and peace. To be truly prepared, you must control your mind and transfer the mind as master to your heart as master. You must prepare to receive the Divine within your heart and Realize that He is the One from whom mankind has descended into physical form and with whom man is a part.

I beseech you to consider this simple understanding, take it to heart and do something about it. Rethink your life and how you are living. Are you aligned with the Will of Krishna? Are you aligned with the Will of the Father who art in Heaven? Are you aligned with the Will of Mohammad, the Will of Zoroaster, the Will of Buddha, all of whom know and teach the Will of God. Are you aligned with the teachings of any of the many Enlightened Masters who have come to “show you the way?”

Are you aligned with your Guru, Sri Swami Vishwananda, who teaches this lesson of aligning with God’s Will, simply and profoundly:
