On amountain top one is free to be!

I have given the easiest sadhana of all with Atma Kriya. There is no other sadhanabecause by practicing Atma Kriya, you are burning much Karma from many livesand so you will reach a very high level. For the rest it is only through mygrace.

Look, I play more human than anybody. This is my role, I have to do it; otherwise, I can't be here.

Enjoy being here, surrender the maximum you can and the rest will be givento you. What is surrender? Surrender is to forget yourself, to hand overyourself and everything. The ego is the arrogance. The ego is attached to youand you cannot control it. You can try to control the ego to your maximum, butit sticks on you.

The mind is the personality of the ego. You can control the mind. It is noteasy but it is not impossible. When you surrender you have to make the firststep towards the Divine. You are aware that God is in everything. It is onlyHim. “Nama gete uta uti.” There is nothing which is not God. Nothing else. Whois Tuka (Bhakti Saint who sang this song)? There is no Tuka. There is no Vishwananda,there is only Him, nothing else. It is Him who acts in everything. But just toknow it like that does not mean everything. Tomorrow you forget about it throughyour actions in the world.

Once you have surrendered, there is not a single moment where the Divine is notpresent. That is why you can see in the life of saints that God is alwayspresent every single moment. This is surrender – only Him, nothing else. How doyou do that? You do this by continuously thinking of Him, even if you have tochallenge your own self. If you have to challenge your mind, challenge it. Thatis why Krishna said: “In millions only a few come to me. People are sopreoccupied by pain, fame, name forgetting that this is just for some timeonly. This will only make you jump from one place to the other.

Language Of The Soul
Love is a language, which the limitedwords that we speak can’t express; it can be felt only. It’s a language thatthe mother understands. When a newborn baby comes on earth the baby doesn’tspeak. It’s a heart-to-heart communication and this heart-to-heartcommunication is the true language. Thisis the language of love, the language of the soul. Life without this language, life without love is of no use. Even if someone doesn’t feel love, there is adegree of love, or otherwise nothing would exist. A life without love is like aland, which you can till as much as you want, but it will never be fertile. Thelife with a little bit of love, that’s what we call joy.

The human heart has one occupant

The abovephoto was blessed with vibhuti in our temple in Nairobi. My mother took thephoto to Mumbai and placed the photo on top of the family temple in Mumbai.

A few dayslater I was in Melbourne and as I was getting off the tram, my rucksack bag got stuck inthe door resulting in my slipping and falling down on concrete steps. The nextday I called my mom in Mumbai. [In the phone conversation, I learned that] atthe same time I had fallen, in Mumbai, the above photo also fell down and allthe vibuthi on the frame came out. The frame was still intact. My mum hadcleaned the photo and placed it on the temple again. [Like the picture frame] Ihad no serious injury. As my mum and I were talking, vibhuti startedmanifesting on Swami’s photo again. As per today, the entire photo is nowcovered with vibhuti.

Jai Gurudev,

The very first time I met Sri Swami Vishwananda was in March 2010. Untilthat time I was not aware of Living Masters, per se! I saw Him again inSeptember 2010 and then this year in September 2011. By April 2011 we, as agroup, had started practicing Om Healing once a week. By the time I met Guruji this September 2011, I had [received]many experiences and also had started feeling connected to Babaji. Of course Iwas not sure what I was experiencing but I was sure that I felt connected.

When Guruji was here in March 2010, He talked about Atma-Kriya but it hasn’t yet started [in my country]. This year inSeptember 2011, Guruji blessed me to become an Om Healing group leader and Iwas elated that He considered me worthy of it (Actually I couldn’t believe it).By Swami’s Grace and Guidance, I got your book ”Unity With The Divine” [Babaji’sbook]. As I started reading it, I realized my experiences during Om Healing Circleswere not imagination!!!!!!! You can understand how I must have felt!

On 11-11-11, we had BABAJI'S Yagna at one of Swami’s devotee’s house, but Icould not attend it and I was very upset. As I sat down to meditate, I feltthat a voice was urging me to start the “Forty Day Meditation,” as in Epistle 6in your book [Babaji’s book]. I took it as an indication from Babaji andstarted the meditation on the same night.

A weather vane is anancient wind observer, now obsolete, which showed the direction the wind wasblowing. Man cannot see the wind, but sees only its affect, like leaves blowinggently or vigorously in the wind. Weather comes and goes in cycles and changesaround the Earth form ice age to tropical climates in the same areas. Manstrives to become more advanced in technology and spirituality throughout theages, as evolution marches along the Divine Highway of time. Like the flatEarth theory that has virtually disappeared from human consciousness, evolutionis continuous and there always is constant change on Earth.

You have had among you untold Masters of time and space; you havemany Masters among you now. Lord Krishna brought you Love through dharmic duty,such as Arjuna demonstrated, and the "Bhagavad Gita" as a Spiritualguide. Such a one, also, was Leonardo da Vinci. This Master hypothesizedconcentrated solar power, outlined a theory on plate tectonics, a tank and acalculator long before these things were comprehended or manufactured.

So, be aware of this new type of weather vane, the "signs of thetimes," these continuous changes occurring around the Earth, and justly soin the New Year beginning tomorrow, 2012. And be not afraid. He said that many people think that the end of the world is coming in 2012 and therefore there will be a great deal of negativity in the world thinking. We should pray because of this negativity in our world, and also do Japa every day. He also told us that some people think there will be a consciousness shift, but that the consciousness is constantly shifting.

Swami Demonstrates Making a Tilak

The Bhakti Marga Tilak

This afternoon Swami Vishwananda demonstrated how to make a simple tilak on your forehead.

He would be very happy to see that worldwide the tilak looks (more or less) the same and not big and short, or long and thin, or only a red line or the Guru doton top, etc. but that the Bhakti Marga tilak is also applied with a sense of unity.

Here is the demonstration:

All you need is Chandan (it is white or dark and is made of the earth of Vrindavan or Radha-Kund) and Kumkum (red powdered colour) and a thin wooden stick (best is an incense stick - just remove the incense)

The best Chandan is the "Gopi-Chandan".

Just put a few drops of water in your hand and rub the block of chandan together with the water 'til you get a paste.

Dip the ring finger of your right hand into the chandan paste and paint a vertical line in the middle of your forehead. Paint the line in an upward motion; from the base of your nose to the hairline. There are different mantras chanted when applying tilakam on various parts of the body. When applying tilak on your forehead, chant 'Om Keshavaya Namaha'. After this, with your (dry) ring finger, you can clean the middle part creating a 'U' shape. (This symbolizes the feet of Vishnu). You can use the incense stick to go over the lines to make them more apparent but make sure to use your finger to make the tilak first.

With your middle finger, take some more chandan and make the Tulsi leaf, starting from the base of your nose going downwards - creating a leaf shape. You can form and correct the outline of the leaf a bit with your fingers. The Tulsi leaf represents devotion which is small at first, and just like the leaf it keeps increasing in size until we can reach the Lotus Feet of the Lord.

Then, use the incense stick to make the 'Guru-Dot' with the red Kumkum. Paint the dot in the middle of the Tulsi leaf and chant 'Om Sri Gurubhyo Namaha'. Afterwards paint the shakti line in the middle of Vishnu's feet. The line symbolizes Vishnu's Shakti - Lakshmi devi who helps us reduce our attachments which are big at first and then disappear, just like the red line. Draw the line from down to up.

The Last Supper

TheLast Supper, the Eucharist also known as Communion of theLord’s Supper was given by Christ Jesus and was the last meal before hiscrucifixion. He shared this last meal with his Twelve Apostles in Jerusalem.During the supper Jesus said that one of his disciples would betray him andalso told that Peter, one of his disciples would deny him three times “beforethe cock crows in the morning.”“And as they were eating Christ said: ‘For Ireceived of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, that the Lord Jesusin the night in which he way betrayed took bread, and when he had given thanks,he brake it, and said, ‘This is my body, which is for you: this do inremembrance of me.’ And he took a cup,and when he had given thanks, he gave to them: and they all drank of it. Mahavatar Babaji Respondsto Comment:
Listen: The world is an illusion and the body of man is an illusion becausethey are temporary. Yet, within the body temple resides the soul, the heart ofman which is eternal and is the Divine Within, the Real You, This is the RealEverybody. How can you say there is nobody to love? There are billions ofpeople on Earth to Love. There are unlimited Gods and Goddesses to love. Thereare Masters, Saints and Martyrs to love, both on Earth and in Heaven. Ah! Andthere is a maha limitation you place on yourself that prevents you from lovingyour fellowman, as has been taught to you. Christ said: “Love your neighbor asyour Self.” Christ meant for you to love from the Divine Self. You are tryingto love from the ego-personality self, the source of your failing to love.

See, you first must learn to love your Self, the Divine Love within you, andthen you are blessed with the capability to radiate unconditional Love outwardtoward the all of creation and everyone. You can do it! Everyone can do it, andit’s free. You do not have to have money; you do not have to look a certainway; you can be young or old, you can be beautiful or plain, you can be male orfemale, you can be educated or not educated, you can be male or female, and onand on and on. There is only one requirement on Earth to have the capability oftranscending illusion and to reach enlightenment; the Love Vibration -- youhave to be in a body. So value the body, both the illusion and the heart andsoul. Remember, this Divine Love which is inside your heart brings you the Giftof inner freedom. You must, however, really want it even more than the sickness,the illusion of this world and the fear to which you cling like a child to abeloved and worn rag doll!

It’s really simple. You choose every day light or darkness and they are bothGod. God is in the limitation and God is in the unlimited. You choose whereyour focus and your consciousness will reside each day. That is all; please seethat you, yourself, choose your life and what happens to you. There is aparadox in this in that there is Divine Will to reckon with, as well. To be inattunement with Divine Will, you accept what God sends and does not send you,and through that trust and faith in God, you win the game of life on thisplanet. This game is called – surrender. Take a chance with God by “throwingyour hat over the wall,” and then having the courage to master the obstacle ofthe wall and go over the wall to retrieve the hat. This metaphor representsyour unlimitedness, which is your greater reality. What have you got to loseexcept limitation, fear and illusion?

Swami says: "Open up your heart! Love and love unconditionally! Lovewithout limit! Love without expecting anything! Realize this love is everflowing, the more you give, the more you receive. Just give for the sake ofgiving. That is what you are here for, not to receive anything, not to takeanything from anybody. Because, what is the difference between you and me?Nothing but one difference (Swami says of himself) I realize it, and you don’trealize it. But you, also, can reach the same level. You need to becontinuously in love.

“Make the ultimate goal of your life Divine love, and surrender to it. You knowwhat God wants from you? Surrender your mind to Him, continuously. Surrenderyour mind to the lotus feet of God, to the feet of your Guru, to the feet ofany Divine master. And free yourself. Free yourself from the mind, freeyourself from all the misery that you created. So when you free your mind, yourealize the Divine everywhere in every aspect, every small thing. Even theclothes you are wearing are divine. Each atom is divine.

“If you have divine eyes to look at the world, you will see that it is just theradiated light of God shining through everything. But as long as you don’t cometo that realization, keep trying. Never lose hope. The moment you lose hope,you lose everything."

Swami says of healing:
“When one is in touch with the spiritual body, one is connected with the Christwithin and only then can we heal ourselves when the fullness of the Mystery ofGod is no longer hidden from us. Then we can heal ourselves through our faith.”

Swami says on Health:
“Meditation calms the mind and our whole system, which leads to a state ofsteady health and peace. This has been verified scientifically that those whomeditate have a better immune system and respond to medicine better.”

"For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour,
which is Christ the Lord."
It’s true that everybody can’t renounce the world and live only for God, but you can continuously try to remember God wherever you are. Remember that the soul inside you is the light of God. The more you think of yourself being part of this light of God, this great love, the more you will reflect this love. But the more you think that you are just a normal human being, the more you will just be a normal human being with all of its limited qualities and you cover all of your divine qualities. Take time every day, just five minutes, to be with your Self. Forget about the world outside, forget everything. Forget about your husband or wife; forget about all your relationships with the outside. Only think of the relationship with your Self.

Do you know what treasure [gift] you will find? You will find the biggest treasure of all, a treasure that nobody can steal from you. And that is love. Love is such a big gift. We feel it with our heart, we know it with our mind, but to realise it, to become one with this love, to spread this love unconditionally is the aim of mankind. The more you spread it, the more you reflect it, the more you will discover your Self.

Rushing through life from one activity to another, while feeling stress that there is not enough time in the day to finish all one has planned, is a poor way of living and squandering life. Surely one must do one’s duty and also call to the Divine at the same time to be with you present in each activity. In this way, you will find balance in life. It is to attain the Divine for which you came into this life, all the others in the past, and those which yet may come. Your life is in the Heart of God, and He will give His grace for your remembrance of your enlightenment in Divine timing. Throughout the centuries and the many lifetimes, for some, God has been with you. Take heart, some sweet day the grace of God will fall suddenly upon you and you will be blessed with inner freedom. Meanwhile, do your sadhana and your duty in preparation of that Great Day to come. As you honor Christ Jesus during His Season around the planet now, remember that He is one of the Maha, Great Masters whom God has sent you to show you the way. Christ said: "I am the way, the truth and the life."

I, then, remembered a story that I read yesterday

My eye and heart were caught by the title,
Even as a moth is inevitably drawn to the flame.
You see, my friends, Divine Mother Lakshmi
Is my Ishtadev, and the name that
Gurudev gave at His Swami initiation August 2011--
Swamini Vishwalakshmianandama, Lakshmi!
I still am in wonder: That’s truly me
At the heart level where there is no “I, me or mine,”

And where there is only One!

The name, Swamini Vishwalakshmianandama
Makes me feel I represent the Divine Mother
Lakshmi, like my Satguru recently informed me,

Ensconced within my Dearly Belov-ed Satguru’s name.
Safely there, I feel completely loved, and that I
Also, along with all mankind, at heart am
“Just Love,” as Swami Vishwananda lovingly teaches us all.
This, I feel, every time I hear, or think of my Spiritual name.

I laughed out loud when the Guru of Gurus,

Mahavatar Babaji this morning, smilingly said:

“Write one of your poems about the Guru,”
Like Swami Vishwananda told you to do
That long ago day when he smilingly said:

‘Write your poems about the Guru
And we will make a book.’"

And Mahavatar Babaji further said:

“Entitle this poem 'Auto-Response.'”
I laughed, remembering that is the immediate
“Auto-Response” you get when you E-mail

Do you all know about that?
If so, you know the Auto-Response says:

“Thank you for your email. I do read all of the letters
That I receive and consider all your prayer requests,
But as I get a lot of mail, I am not able to respond to
all of them. Thank you for your understanding!

Love and Blessings, Swami Vishwananda.”
Truly, it took me knowing Swami for some time to know
That He answers all the Email he receives, be it
In Email form or when one listens closely in the “Inner Within!”
He doesn’t place this in writing, but I feel,
He wants us to Realize He answers all our mail
Within our own “Inner Within!”

I was new to knowing Swami back then and
I had never in this life received an Email “Auto-Response.”
So I wrote him :

“Swami, I have not sent you any prayer requests, now
Are you going to call me?”
What naivete, I blush to remember
That I wrote such a thing to Him!
No wonder Swami was amused.
I had heard a lucky bless-ed few receive calls from him.
Swami laughingly called me and said:
"After reading your Email, I thought I better call you."
Just so you know, I have not received many actual
Telephone calls from Swami since then!

So, the history has been told

And you know that when you E-mail
The Master Sat Guru Prema Avatar
Sri Swami Vishwananda.
He responds with an actual E-mail or
Within the Self, If you learn to listen.
And that is what he wants
You to do—to listen to the Inner Within!

The purpose of life, like I said earlier, is to attain Realization. Before that, you have to attain the grace of God, because Self-realization, God-realization is not in the hands of man. The surrender is in your hands but the rest is in His hands. You can try your best and if He doesn’t want to give, He [God] will not give. If you are ready, He will give it to you. The Yogi, the Yogini and You – A Story by Mahavatar Babaji
Once in a place not far away from Rishikesh, India, a man one day came walking toward the Ganges River that runs through this city of the Rishis, the Sadhus, the Yogis. This man walked in light so radiant that the inhabitants of this sacred city stared in wonder. When he crossed a bridge to the other side of the Ganges, he seemed to be the bridge and the water beneath the bridge and a man simultaneously. Rainbow colored lights radiated from the man’s form and merged with the water of the Sacred Ganges beneath the bridge creating a rainbow arched high into the air and from one side to the other of the bridge. If one could read the people’s minds who were watching, they would know that the people received a blessing from the rainbow of light.

When this radiant being reached the other side of the river and the city, he walked into a local store and purchased from the attendant there a murti of the one many call Mahavatar Babaji. I was watching, simultaneously, from the Himalayas above Rishikesh and from within the man of light that the people observed walking into and out of the store.

When I came outside, I walked to a nearby Sadhu, a Yogi, old in years but young in body and spirit. This was made possible through his yogic practices through hundreds of years in the same body. He touched my feet, respectfully, a yogic Guru-disciple tradition in India. I blessed him by touching his head and handing him the murti I had just purchased for him.

The people wondered who could this man of light be, and what could his purpose be in offering this gift to the Yogi who sat in his same seat from sun up to sun down each day. And then I disappeared before the eyes of those who were watching. “What is the purpose of this show or play performed before our eyes?” Many were thinking this way. Then, much to the people’s surprise, the Yogi’s form became smaller and smaller until he was the same size as the murti. As mysteriously as his reduction in physical size was to the eyes of the people, he now majestically merged into the murti like water vapor into the ethers. Never again did this Yogi sit in his place in Rishikesh each day. Such things happen in Mother India. Have you read about, seen or experienced some of these?

As the people continued looking at the murti in wonder, a young woman known to be pure of heart and mind stopped in front of the murti and spontaneously saw a vision of the form of Mahavatar Babaji that the murti represented. This girl was the only disciple of the Yogi who had merged and disappeared into the murti. Through the purification of hundreds of years, the Yogi was given the opportunity, through the murti, to move into a higher frequency of the Infinite Divine. In the following years, through the murti, I guided the young girl for a very long time. And truth be told: This Yogini still lives in the city of Rishikesh, India to this day.

How does this story apply to those of you reading it now? I tell you truly, there are stories being written by my disciples, in these days and these times, that in the future will be read by many. Some of these ones, who read these stories in the future, will be inspired to connect with the energy and guidance of the one known as Mahavatar Babaji, whose only purpose for being on this planet is to guide mankind to one’s own heart and the Divine Within.

I am as present for you as I am for this ageless Yogini and the Yogi of whom she was a disciple. The Yogi merged with and reached the lotus feet of his Guru through the murti he was given. If any of you reading this feel guided from within to connect with me in a conscious way, you may do so in your meditations and in the Atma Kriya that Swami Vishwananda teaches in your time. And, yes, you may also connect with me through a murti.

So, be alert always, for any of you may see a Divine Being from within and without at any time the Divine wills it and your heart resonates.

Dearly Beloveds,

In the woods in the time of the Biblical Noah, there lived a hermit who stood firm in his belief that all people are created equal in the Heart of God. At that time, many people thought, literally, that God had “chosen” people who were more beloved by the Divine than others. In this age of Kali, known as the “age of darkness,” there are numerous people around this planet shining magnificent, luminous, bright light through the darkness and ignorance abounding on the planet. These ones now realize that God loves all equally. At all times throughout Earth’s history, Holy Ones come from higher planes, or dimensional frequencies, to deliver this message to mankind that all have the same equal opportunity to Realize the Divine.

Noah taught this through listening to the heart, this "still small voice within” that whispers the truth. The Great Truth is that one can fulfill his dharma and become Realized even in the face of ridicule and great danger to the physical form. And so, it is today in your time, that my Disciple Swami Vishwananda teaches the same lesson as Noah and the hermit in Noah’s olden times and many Masters who have come to "show you the way."

“So, you see, in the relationship to the Divine you forget about yourself completely. You forget about your own realization, you forget about what will make you happy. There is a greater purpose to realize that you have a soul. That’s what all the great masters have revealed to mankind through centuries and centuries. You have a soul. That’s your true identity. That’s who you are. And that’s what you will be [when realized]. But don’t waste time.

Liberation [unity with God] is not dissolution, not a dissolving of the identity. You transform yourself from the limited to the unlimited, from the ego to the absolute. When you rise above the mind you see that everything becomes equal. The consciousness awakens when you detach yourself from the lower things. You realize that you are more than that.

What is the true meaning of the identity, please - is it the notion of just "I" or "I AM" or only "Am-ness, Being-ness" without any "I"? As your teacher, Swami Vishwananda has spoken about many times: "It is the heart where you will find the Real You!. The mind will always have questions. Surrender your body, mind and soul. Focus on any Divine aspect firstly, and then you realise your Divinity. Remember that whoever you are, even if your advancement is slow or fast, God loves you."

A Master of Space, Time and the Earth Dimension may appear in any form he pleases. This is accomplished through his dimensional matrix attainment of the Divine Oneness within the All. There is a somewhat amusing description of this in the planetary consciousness at this time entitled “shape-shifting,” Actually, it is an accurate one way of thinking about or seeing this attainment in third-dimensional action.

The Master, such as has been reported of Sri Swami Vishwananda, will be sitting in front of you giving you Darshan with his thumb on your Ajna energy center and looking with Great Love and intensity into your eye of the Self. Suddenly you see some other form of the Divine sitting in front of you. You call this action “miraculous.” In actuality, it is a natural phenomenon which is as spiritual as the halo around Holy Masters that after centuries of disbelief, by most, now can be scientifically photographed through Twentieth Century scientific photographic developments. And, it is as scientific as the camera that has the ability to photograph this phenomena.

All of you, also, are born with the inherent capability of “shape-shifting” or transforming into different forms.” So, why is it that you do not? Could it be that you are attached to the form you occupy? It is simple, isn’t it? You have not yet remembered the Oneness that you are a part of the whole and you contain the entire universe inside you, the Divine Creation. Last night we celebrated Mahavatar Babaji's decision to stay on earth. Swami Vishwananda spoke about how it was, how Babaji was sitting together with His devotees and told them that He was thinking about ascending back into heaven. His sister, Mataji, argued 'But you are everywhere anyhow, You are omipresent in the whole universe. For you, it makes no difference if you go to heaven or stay here with us on Earth.' This was a very good argument, so Babaji decided to stay here on Earth with us! This wonderful loving decision is celebrated everywhere in the world on the 30th of November!

OM SRI MAHAVATAR KRIYA BABAJI KI JAI!

Another devotee attending wrote: Swami talked a little about Babaji at the beginning. Roshan and Swamini Kurunama from the UK talked about Kriya Yoga and Babaji. Then Swami continued with the Kalash Puja,Yagna and Abhishekam. It was really nice with 150 devotees in the Babaji Cave at Shree Peetha Nilaya. All in all it was nice and just good. Last night (Monday November 28, 2011), Swami Vishwananda asked residents of SPN to come to the Bhajan Café where he showed pictures from his recent India Pilgrimage. Swami spoke about the visit to India and an impression of the deep spirituality of this journey was felt by everyone.

Isn’t it beautiful to sing the name of Narayana?
Let yourself be drawn into it.
Such is the greatness of the name of God,
Whoever is singing with an open heart, whoever
is singing the name of God with faith, will be
pulled more inside of it.

See, the more you go into it, the more you lose
yourself in this Divine name.
The identity of being human disappears.
Then what stays is only the Divine
and that is what you really are.
If we remove the body, who are you?
The soul, isn’t it?

We are the soul with a stain on it.
The stain is in the mind.
However, by signing the name of God;
any aspect, Krishna, Jesus, Allah, one
begins to remove these stains.
But it has to be sung with devotion and love.

It is nice when you join together and sing
the name of God.
It creates a vibration,
an urge to merge with God.
That’s why it is very important
wherever you are, find a few
people and sing.

If you don’t know how to sing,
just recite His names.
While you are reciting, picture
the form in your mind.
Keep concentrating on the form
and let yourself go.
Let yourself merge into the Divine energy.
And enjoy it!

Remove all the darkness and barriers
from the mind – jump in.
This is BHAKTI!

A Bhakta You Become

Three coins in a fountain may
Grant you three wishes,
Or so it is said.

One remembers the thriune of the three wise men,
Who came to Jesus, the Christ, that night of nights…
Back then when a great light came to Earth
As a bright star was observed in the Heavens.

"Run for your lives," the masses say,
As they strive for their daily bread.
How can life be equal
And God be loving and fair,
When rich and poor and happy and sad,
Some terrified by war
And some wallowing in wealth and power
Live side-by-side in this illusionary world?

The three wise men might say:
Cover your eyes and ears to that called illusion
And look to the heart instead.
For many lives we all have lived:
We have been rich and poor,
Lovely and not so fair,
Powerful and down and out,
Penniless even…
Lying in the gutter of human embodiment,
One life a rich man we become,
The next a pauper’s son,
Then perhaps even a lordly king or two
Wearing the royal purple robe.
Entitlement is the name of that game.

What have we attained in the end?
Only the love we have embodied and given,
And God, through Grace,
If we have attained Him by the end!
As Satguru Sri Swami Vishwananda says:
"When one has God, one has everything!"
None of the illusionary world do we take with us…
When from this world we go.

We teach our children as we live the example
And not from what we tell them is so.
Our children walk the same path as everyone,
They learn and live life as they go!

Life is like a lemon tree.
If life showers us with sour lemons,
Then with God’s Grace,
Let us accept God’s gift of the lemons
And let us make the sweetest of all lemonades
While upon this Earth of man.

Actually He is about 5,000 years old, still alive. Because He is my Satguru, I can tell you something. Of course, here is just a picture, a drawing [picture of Babaji on altar at the time Swami was saying this and NOT the one of Babaji depicted above]. He looks very strict! Actually, I tell you, He is such an expression of Love that it’s difficult with words to express it. Even the word "Love" is limited to express His Love. Meaning of this Verse: The Guru is the Creator, the Protector and the Destroyer of ignorance. Being Param Brahma and being the incarnation of God manifested through the Guru, the Guru helps each one until one reaches the Self, until one reaches the inner Guru.

Henceforth, we have the term “fairy tale.” In reality, “Once upon a time long ago” man came upon this planet to learn the truth of the Self which the Divine placed like a jewel waiting to be discovered within the heart of humanity. Wise ones of you enjoy the fairy tales but know that they mimic experiences of the material world desires, hopes and dreams. Inside, a voice is calling you to be free. Life is the most beautiful thing that God has given you. Don´t waste it. At the end, when life is departing this body and you look back you may say: “Oh my God, I have missed so many choices, so many chances God has sent to me. My mind has been ruled by so many mistakes. I made myself blind.” Why do I say, I make myself blind? The choice to be blind or to see is up to you. How does one do that? Do you do your sadhana every day? Do you, or not? How many among you do your sadhana regularly and I mean every day? You see, the spiritual sadhana helps you to free the mind and it helps you not to get entangled into this limitation.

Once a student went to his Guru and said: “Master, I am troubled.” The master stood right in front of him and came very near to his face, like this microphone, and said: “Why do you hang on the illusion? You know, whatever is in this mind is an illusion, why do you hang on that? You know very well that deep inside of you only God resides. Why don´t you find joy inside of this?” Then the master said: “My dear child, recite for 24 hours, nonstop, your Guru mantra and meditate intensely for 4 hours and you will conquer the mind.” Of course the grace of the Guru was there. The grace of God is with you.

When I tell you to chant the name of God 24 hours, you ask: “What if I sleep?” How can we chant when we are sleeping? But that is the secret of mantra japa,. The more you train yourself by chanting throughout the day the name of God, the more you train yourself in reciting continuously in every action to remember the Divine, the more it will become automatic. Then even when you sleep, you will carry on chanting and you will carry on singing the Divine names. And practice your spiritual sadhana, because your spiritual practice is like a shield, like an armor, that has been given to you to protect you. And when you are protected you don´t need to fear anything. But if you have been given an armor, you put it in a wardrobe. Then when you have many enemies attacking you, how will you protect yourself? Tell me, would you be protected? No. So why put the armor inside a wardrobe! Wear it (chant the mantra continuously as your armor) and be disciplined about it, self-discipline.

Long before you come here [to Earth], it’s already said where you have to be, who will be your guide and when it will be that God makes everything possible for you to achieve Him. Actually, you can say it is you, but it is not you at all. It is only Him, because in the core of everything, your Atma is only Him.

AJNA The Third Eye
Ajna is the eye of intuition. When something is seen in the mind’s eye or in a dream, it is being 'seen' by Ajna. The Ajna is a bridge that links Gurus with disciples, allowing mind communication to occur between them. The sense and action associated with Ajna is the mind.

Hindus believe that spiritual energy from the external environments enters their body through this gateway and hence take action in protecting it with spiritually positive protecting forces. The various marks one sees on the foreheads of men and women belonging to the Hindu faith (like holy ash, vermilion etc.) are thus the blessed spiritual prasadam of their respective form of the Hindu gods. (Our own Sri Swami Vishwananda wears the identifying mark, or tilak, of Lord Vishnu seen at the Ajna in the picture above.)

Meditation upon Ajna, which takes one to the heart, the atma, the soul has the potential to grant the spiritual power of omniscience and to Realize Unity with the Divine.

JOURNEY TO THE ATMA

“From rags to riches” is a dream come true.
Still, this dream is from the depths of hell one comes
And goes in this frame of mind.
How is that?

The material world is filled with traps
That are stimulated from mind to mind
In this world of Illusion and Illumination.
The “I” of the mind and Illusional, material world
And the “I” of illumination, the Atma, the soul.
Residing like a box within a box.
This is like RIP:
Rest In Peace . . .
After the body goes to its reward--
“Ashes to ashes and dust to dust,”
And the spiritual body goes onward to its reward!

Each decides whether he will lay
Up his treasures in this illusionary world with gold
Or the Lord’s Way . . . that is . . .
To trust and have faith in the spiritually magnificent,
Sacred hereafter dimensions of Love!

So when the mind-storms of life
Come your way, go to the center
Of the life story, the eye of the
Storm where calmness resides.
Go to the Ajna chakra, the third eye.
As you enter in it takes you to
The heart of you, the real you
Where peace and trust and
Faith in the Divine is alive
Forevermore.
The mind is controlled herein
And calm and harmony bring
Real happiness to the one
Who travels to the Atma,
The Divine within.

Thinking of Changing Someone's Mind is Completely Wrong

Know that God is beyond everything and that He loves everybody equally. It’s not upon anybody to go and try to change somebody’s mind, saying “My way is right, your way is wrong.” Thinking like this is completely wrong. We say we have only one God, but we adore Him in His many forms until we reach a point to see this Oneness everywhere. The life story of Tulsidas or any Self-Realised saint is beyond the comprehension of the mind, because they live completely in God. And they are calling everybody to live completely in God, to live in the Love of God and to know that God is everywhere: God is present in everybody.

First we see the duality, the separation, and through that separation, God unites us and makes us one with Him. He makes us Realize His Divinity, then we stop talking about Him and we become completely quiet. As long as we have not found God, as long as we have not come to the point of God-Realization, Self-Realization, we should never lose hope, we should never let go of God´s Name, we should never let go of whatever we are doing. One has to completely surrender to one´s path and, whatever obstructions or obstacles come on the way, one has to always say “No” to them. Your aim is to have God-Realization, Self-Realization. Until you have reached your aim, until you have come to the point of complete trust and faith in yourself and in God, keep trying! Don’t let anything come in the way.

Comprehension of Love through Consciousness

Love resides inside every person. The mind can perceive the love with form but cannot comprehend love without form, the mind thinks in images. The mind wants to quickly understand everything. To comprehend love without form the consciousness is needed. The consciousness has to awaken to perceive this love. When you have touched this love inside, you start to become this love. God reveals Himself to you and His qualities reveal themselves to you. You start vibrating these qualities.

SO MANY QUESTIONS IN OUR MINDS CONCERNING LOVING GOD
[There are] so many questions in our minds concerning loving God. Often we ask the question: "Why can’t we just love God?"Actually, to love God is the most simple thing you can do. But, yet, the mind always asks questions. There is such love that you just love without really knowing why you are loving, and in such love, you are loving God. To love God you don’t need to understand God with the mind.
